    摘要: A dealcoholation condensation type room temperature curable composition of the present invention comprises (A) a diorganopolysiloxane blocked by mono-, di- or tri-alkoxysilyl group at both terminal ends, (B) an alkoxysilane having the formula (1):R.sup.1.sub.4-n Si(OR.sup.2).sub.n (1)wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are a monovalent hydrocarbon group and n is 3 or 4, or a partially hydrolyzed product thereof, (C) a titanate ester or a titanium complex and (D) an organosilicon compound having the formula (2): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R.sup.7 is an alkyl group or an alkoxyalkyl group, a is 0 or 1 and m is an integer of 0 to 3. The composition is very excellent in shelf stability.

    摘要: A binder for cork chips is provided by an RTV organopolysiloxane composition comprising (1) a diorganopolysiloxane blocked with an alkoxysilyl group at either end of its backbone, (2) a crosslinking agent in the form of an alkoxysilane or a partial hydrolysate thereof, (3) an organic titanate, (4) a network polysiloxane comprising triorganosiloxy and SiO.sub.2 units and having a terminal SiOH group blocked with an alkoxysilyl group, and (5) an epoxy-modified alkoxysilane or a partial hydrolysate thereof. Cork plugs are obtained by mixing the composition with cork chips followed by molding and curing.

    摘要: A room temperature vulcanizable organopolysiloxane composition comprises (A) a diorganopolysiloxane which is blocked with an alkoxy group at both ends of a molecular chain thereof, (B) a tri or tetraalkoxysilane, (C) a titanium curing catalyst, (D) a silica filler, and (E) an alkoxysilane which is less hydrolyzable than the alkoxysilane of (B). The composition yields a cured product having high strength and high elongation and is low in viscosity and extrusion rate. A method for preparing the composition is also provided in which the ingredients (A) to (D) are first mixed together, to which the ingredient (E) is added.

    摘要: A room temperature curable rubber composition of a condensation curing type that comprises as a base polymer a diorganopolysiloxane or a polyoxyalkylene in which both ends of the molecular chain are blocked with a hydrolyzable silyl group, and a .beta.-dicarbonyl compound and an amino group containing organic compound that are blended with the base polymer. Since the room temperature curable rubber composition is cured with water in the air and at the same time the dehydration condensation of the .beta.-carbonyl group and the amino group produces water in the composition, the quick curability and deep curability are improved remarkably. In addition, since this dehydration condensation reaction is an irreversible reaction, the product produced by the condensation dehydration is hydrolyzed to prevent the amino group containing compound from being regenerated, and as a result the hydrophilic nature of the cured product is prevented from increasing not to damage the water resistance.

    摘要: The invention provides a foamable organopolysiloxane composition capable of giving, by foaming and curing at room temperature, a silicone rubber foam of high foaming expansion having very uniform and dense cellular structure. The composition is prepared by a process comprising the steps of: (A) compounding an .alpha.,.omega.-dihydroxy dimethylpolysiloxane with a reinforcing silica filler, hexamethyl disilazane and water as the hydrolysis agent of the silazane to give a compound; (B) removing ammonia in the compound formed by the hydrolysis of the silazane compound as completely as possible; and (C) compounding the compound with a polyhydroxy methylpolysiloxane, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane and a platinum compound as a catalyst for the dehydrogenation reaction between the silanolic hydroxy groups and the silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms to produce hydrogen as the foaming gas.

    摘要: A room temperature curable fluoropolymer composition is provided which comprises (A) a straight chain fluoropolymer compound containing, in its backbone chain, at least one structure selected from a perfluoroalkylene structure and a perfluoropolyether structure and having a hydrolyzable silyl group at both ends of its molecular chain, (B) an organic compound having at least one carbonyl group per molecule, and (C) one compound selected from (C-1) an organic compound having at least one primary amino group per molecule and (C-2) a compound having at least one proton per molecule and having an acid dissociation constant (pKa) in water of 2 or less. Another room temperature curable composition is also provided which comprises said (A) component, (B') an organosilicon compound having at least two silanol groups per molecule, and (C') a condensation accelerator. These compositions are not only excellent in heat resistance, weatherability, electrical properties, processability, chemical resistance, solvent resistance and oil repellant properties, but also excellent in fast curability and deep-portion curability. A novel compound which is suitable as said fluoropolymer compound (A) is further provided.
