摘要： In a column mounted switching device mounted on a steering column of a vehicle, a revolution member is supported on a base plate rotatably about a first revolution axis in a first direction, an operation lever is supported on the revolution member rotatably about a second revolution axis directed at a substantially right angle to the first revolution axis, and first switch means is mounted on the base plate such that it is operated in a direction parallel to the second revolution axis by the operation lever through the revolution member. Accordingly, a distance between the first revolution axis and an operation portion of the first switch means is kept sufficiently long so that the first switch means can be operated reliably.

摘要： A self-cancelling mechanism is mounted on a steering column of a vehicle, is used for a turn-signal device signalling a change of a running direction of the vehicle and switches off turn-signal lamps by a returning rotation of a steering wheel. A ratchet is pivotally supported to a bracket pivoted to the steering column and is operated by a driver, and a cancelling cam body is arranged between the ratchet and the steering shaft. The ratchet is rotatable from its neutral position against the bracket up to a pair of rotation positions and is forced to the neutral position by an elastic member so that, even if the ratchet is suddenly returned back to the neutral position by the rotation of the steeling shaft in an anticancelling direction, striking noise does not occur.

摘要： An improved combination switching arrangement for use in a motor vehicle or the like includes a plurality of actuators to be displaced by operation of a control lever, and a switch unit having a switch base on which switch elements to be selectively opened or closed by the movements of the actuators are fixed. The switch elements are disposed on the upper surface and the under surface of the switch base, while at least one set of the actuators are movably provided at the upper and under surfaces of the switch base so as to be connected to each other through an opening formed in the switch base for simple construction and compact size of the switching arrangement.

摘要： A switch assembly for use in a vehicle including a body carrying a turn indicator switch and a dimmer and passing switch, a rotatable member rotatably mounted on the body for actuating the turn indicator switch, and a bifurcated lever having first and second arms. The first arm is pivotally connected to the rotatable member for pivotal movement of the lever in a direction perpendicular to the direction of rotation of the rotatable member and the second arm is provided in association with the dimmer and passing switch so that rotation of the lever together with the rotatable member controls the turn indicator switch and the pivotal movement of the lever controls the dimmer and passing switch. A plurality of vertical and horizontal notches are formed in a face between the first and second arms for the engagement with a pin mounted in the body to hold the lever in the pivoted and rotated positions.

摘要： A tapping method for performing a tapping process in a punch press includes engaging a front end of a tap provided at a tapping tool attached to a rotating mold indexing device rotatably provided at the punch press with a prepared hole formed in a workpiece. When the front end of the tap is engaged with the prepared hole, a control motor of the rotating mold indexing device is rotated positively to rotate the tap positively. When it is detected that the control motor of the rotating mold indexing device has rotated a determined number of times, positive rotation of the control motor is stopped and the motor is rotated reversely, thereby to detach the tap from the prepared hole of the workpiece.

摘要： A tapping method includes engaging a front end of a tap with a prepared hole formed in a workpiece. The tap is provided at a tapping tool attached to a rotating mold indexing device that includes a control motor M. The rotating mold indexing device is rotatably provided at a punch press. The tapping method also includes rotating the control motor M positively to rotate the tap positively when the front end of the tap is engaged with the prepared hole. The tapping method also includes stopping positive rotation of the control motor M and rotating the motor reversely, thereby to detach the tap from the prepared hole of the workpiece, when it is detected that the control motor M has rotated a determined number of times or that a predetermined time has elapsed.

摘要： An adsorbent for .beta..sub.2 -microglobulin is disclosed, which comprises a water-insoluble carrier having supported thereon, as a ligand, at least one electrolyte selected from the group consisting of a polyamino acid, a polysaccharide, a synthetic high polymer, collagen having an isoelectric point of 9.5 or more, and gelatin having an isoelectric point of 6.5 or more, wherein said electrolyte has a molecular weight not less than 1,000 and an X value of more than 2.0, wherein X is a relationship regarding the skeleton structure of said electrolyte and is the sum of A and B, wherein A represents (the number of carbon atoms of the skeleton structure)-(the number of hydrophilic groups)/(the number of hydrophilic groups); and B represents .vertline.(the number of cationic groups)-(the number of anionic groups).vertline./(the number of hydrophilic groups). The adsorbent exhibits adsorptivity for .beta..sub.2 -microglobulin at high efficiency and high selectivity.
