摘要: An engine-supporting structure for a motorcycle, in which a collar can be removed to perform engine maintenance, and can be suitably re-mounted after the completion of maintenance. The engine-supporting structure supports a rear upper mounting portion of an engine, on left and right pivot plates, by providing left and right upper engine-supporting frame portions at central areas of the respective pivot plates. interposing a left upper collar between a left upper engine-supporting frame portion and a rear upper mounting portion formed on an engine, interposing a right upper collar between the right upper engine-supporting frame portion and the rear upper mounting portion formed on the engine, and coupling the left and right upper engine-supporting frame portions, the left and right upper collars, and the rear upper mounting portion by a rod-shaped member.

摘要: A drive current Ip used to control the light output from a laser diode LD is controlled by using an output Vsft from a level shift circuit 3. By inserting the level shift circuit 3 between a drive source (V+) and a switch buffer 5, the lower limit (V+)−(V−) of the drive voltage in the circuit is lowered to enable the laser diode drive circuit to be driven at a lower voltage and to achieve a reduction in power consumption.

摘要: An aqueous coating composition comprising 15 to 40% (as a solid) by weight of an aqueous copolymer latex. The aqueous copolymer latex is prepared by the emulsion polymerization of monomer components which comprises: (A) 10 to 70 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylate monomer comprising (A-1) 20 to 80% by weight of a branched C.sub.3-5 -alkyl (meth)acrylate and (A-2) 80 to 20% by weight of a linear C.sub.2-4 -alkyl (meth)acrylate; (B) 5 to 30 parts by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid; and (C) 0 to 85 parts by weight of a monomer copolymerizable with said components (A) and (B). The composition exhibits strong resistance to neutralization, excellent durability, a superior leveling characteristic, superb adhesiveness, high resistance to water-permeation, and good water repellency. It is suitable for coating plastics, ceramics, woods, and formed concrete.

摘要: A producing sequence is constituted by a plurality of tasks. To manage production, a task difficulty level of a task within the producing sequence is evaluated. INPUT, PROCESS and OUTPUT skill categories are determined by categorizing a skill required for human resource in charge of the task according to cognitive science. The INPUT skill category is related to cognition of outer field information or acquisition of cognitive information. The PROCESS skill category is related to thinking or decision. The OUTPUT skill category is related to behavior or action. The task is evaluated with the INPUT, PROCESS and OUTPUT skill categories, to obtain respectively difficulty ranks. The task difficulty level is determined by processing the difficulty ranks in combination according to overall processing. Also, a risk diagnosis is provided, in which an error influence level of a predictable error of a task within a producing sequence is assessed.

摘要: A method and apparatus for sensing air pressure in pneumatic suspension units for a vehicle, such as a motorcycle, comprising: air pressure sensors capable of sensing air pressures in pneumatic suspension units to generate an output signal when the air pressures are below a predetermined level; a vehicle speed sensor capable of sensing vehicle speed to generate an output signal when the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined level; a signal processor adapted to receive output signals from the pressure sensors and the vehicle speed sensor and generate an output when the air pressures in the pneumatic suspension units are below a predetermined level while the vehicle speed continues to be in excess of a predetermined level for more than a predetermined period of time. An indicating device produces an indicating signal when it receives an output signal from the signal processor.

摘要: A saddle-type vehicle has an engine-fastening structure which stabilizes a seating face contact between a collar and a vehicle body frame on one side, and between the collar and an engine on the other side. The vehicle includes a vehicle body frame having an engine-supporting portion, and an engine block having a female threaded portion formed therein for alignment with the engine-supporting portion. The collar is interposed between the engine-supporting portion and the engine block. The engine-supporting portion of the frame, the collar and the engine side female threaded portion are fastened together by a bolt. A gap is provided at least at locations between the collar and the bolt which oppose a boundary between the collar and the engine-supporting portion, and another boundary between the collar and the engine side female threaded portion.

摘要: The inverter functioning as a comparator, dummy inverter having the same electric characteristics as the inverter, and control circuit are provided. Vth detecting input voltage output from the control circuit is input into the dummy inverter, Vth detecting output voltage output from the dummy inverter is input into the control circuit, and the threshold voltage of the dummy inverter is detected. The threshold voltage of the inverter is controlled by controlling the back gate voltages of the MOS transistors of the dummy inverter and the inverter in such a manner that the threshold voltage of the dummy inverter coincide with an external reference voltage.
