    摘要: Insert and assemble editing of video signals are carried out using a VTR having helically scanning rotary record/playback heads. Following the recording of a first video signal in slant tracks on the tape, the tape is stopped at an edit point where recording of a second video signal is to commence. Then the tape is run reversely while control signals associated with the locations of the tracks are reproduced. These control signals are counted and the tape is stopped when a predetermined number of such signals have been counted. Thereafter the tape is advanced to a noiseless-still-picture position, based on a counted number of oscillations associated with rotation of the tape capstan, at which an acceptably noise-free picture is obtained, notwithstanding that the head scan of the rotary heads does not completely coincide with the slant tracks when the tape is stopped. After this, the tape is run at normal speed, and when the tape reaches the edit point, the VTR begins to record the second signal, which is at that time in step with the previously-recorded first video signal.

    摘要: In a process for the production of a D-.alpha.-amino acid, in which an N-carbamyl-D-.alpha.-amino acid corresponding to the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R represents phenyl, hydroxy-substituted phenyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, or thienyl, is converted by a microbial enzyme in an aqueous medium to a D-.alpha.-amino acid corresponding to the general formula: ##STR2## wherein R is the same as defined above, decarbamylase produced by a microorganism of the genus Comamonas, Blastobacter, Alcaligenes, Sporosarcina, Rhizobium, Bradyrhizobium or Arthrobacter is used as the enzyme converting the N-carbamyl-D-.alpha.-amino acid to the D-.alpha.-amino acid.The conversion of the N-carbamyl-D-.alpha.-amino acids to the D-.alpha.-amino acids is carried out in a neutral to alkaline pH range.

    摘要: To provide a work machine in which traveling devices and an implement device can be operated by common operating levers, wherein switching operation is easy and a changeover is easily confirmed. Inside a cab of the work machine, there are provided travel pedals, with which the traveling devices can be operated, and operating levers, with which the traveling devices and the implement device can be operated. A changeover switch is provided on a console positioned in the vicinity of one side of an operating sheet. The changeover switch switches over between a traveling mode, in which traveling operation is possible by the operating levers, and a work mode, in which implement operation is possible by the operating levers. The work machine has a controller which makes it possible to work by the operating levers when the travel pedal is not stepped on in the case where the work mode or traveling mode is selected by the changeover switch, and makes it possible to travel by the operating levers only when the travel pedal is stepped on in the case where the traveling mode is selected by the changeover switch.

    摘要: An intracavitary ultrasound probe comprises a rotating shaft rotatably supported inside an elongated body and adapted to swing or rotate a transducer element, an motor housed in a handle, and a stab needle guide extending in substantially parallel to the elongated body. The motor is arranged in a manner to be offset from the rotating shaft, and the ultrasound probe further comprises a mechanism for transmitting torque from the motor to the rotating shaft. Since, therefore, the handle is offset from the elongated body, a wide space for operating a stab needle is provided, thus ensuring easy operation of the stab needle. In addition, a wide space for employing a syringe is also provided. As a result of this structure, the patient's pain is reduced, and the probe is easy to rotate or tilt.
