    摘要: The present invention provides for a method of reducing the reactogenicity of live attentuated bacterial vaccines by deleting at least a portion (e.g., the TLR-5 stimulating domain of a flagellin protein) of at least one of the bacterial genes that encodes a flagellin from the bacterium genome. These vaccines are directed against enteric or non-enteric flagellin-producing bacteria. A particular embodiment provides for a live attenuated cholera vaccine having reduced reactogenicity.
