    摘要: Methods and apparatus are described for implementing service discovery protocols on subnetted zero configuration networks. A process for managing service advertisement across a plurality of subnets may comprise: collecting service advertisements on a local network level by designated network devices; sending listings of services from each of the designated devices to a master network device; sending a table of services for the plurality of subnets from the master device to all of the designated devices on the plurality of subnets; creating by each of the designated network devices for the corresponding subnet a service discovery proxy table listing the service advertisements on the subnets of the plurality of subnets beyond the subnet corresponding to the designated device; and periodically transmitting by each of the designated devices on the corresponding subnets service advertisements for the services of the corresponding service discovery proxy table.

    摘要: A method for reconfiguring an airfoil of a turbine vane segment. In at least one embodiment, the method may be used to straighten an airfoil of a turbine vane segment to remove lean, twist, or racking, or any combination thereof. The airfoil may be straightened by heating the airfoil to no more than 750 degrees F. while applying a load to an inner shroud in a direction that is generally tangential to an outer shroud of the turbine vane segment. The load is up to 6000 lbf. Orifices may be cut into the airfoil suction side, inboard of the outer shroud, to facilitate the straightening process. The orifices may be sealed upon completion of the process.

    摘要: A virtual private network (VPN) tunnel is established that extends from a source spoke to a destination spoke in a hub-and-spoke enterprise network. Prior to establishing the VPN tunnel, packets are sent from the source spoke to the destination spoke through the hub network. In this manner, packets are not dropped while the VPN tunnel is being set up. The VPN tunnel is established by querying a server for the network address of a destination router in the destination spoke, then setting up the VPN tunnel using a secure communication protocol. An extension to the Internet Key Exchange (IKE) protocol is used to obtain the private network address of the destination router during setup of the VPN tunnel. A forwarding table is updated after the VPN tunnel is established to reroute the packets through the new VPN tunnel.

    摘要: A method and system for selecting a route in a wireless network for the transmission of a data packet between wireless nodes in said network using a modified link-state routing algorithm wherein only a limited number of broadcast messages are generated to synchronize the link-state database throughout the wireless network. A subset of nodes called portal nodes within the network are elected to do the broadcasting for the entire network. Each portal node broadcasts an announcement of its identity to all of the wireless nodes. Each wireless node responds to these broadcasts to select one of the portal nodes as its root portal node. It then identifies a unicast route back to its root portal node, and sends a link-state register message to this portal node. These link-state register messages received by each portal node are aggregated by them and are broadcast to each of the wireless nodes for storage. When a data packet is thereafter received by a wireless node from a neighboring node, it detects if the data packet satisfies one of a plurality of predetermined conditions and rebroadcasts the data packet to neighboring wireless nodes if none of the conditions is satisfied.

    摘要: A data output circuit of a memory device comprises an output enable signal generating unit, an output driving unit, an output driving unit and an output enable control unit. The output enable signal generating unit generates a reference output enable signal in response to a read command and outputting a plurality of output enable signals in response to a rising DLL clock and a falling DLL clock. The output driving unit drives data synchronously with respect to the rising DLL clock and the falling DLL clock in response to the output enable signals at a read mode. The output enable control unit disables the falling DLL clock when the output enable signals are all disabled. As a result, current consumption is reduced because the falling DLL clock is generated only when the output enable signal is generated.
