    摘要: A novel panchromatic electrophotographic recording element has an electrically conducting substrate and one or more photoconducting layers. The photoconducting layer contains one or more binders, several charge carrier-producing compounds or sensitizers, one or more charge carrier-transporting compounds (photoconductors) and, if required, additives. The sensitizers themselves are Victoria Blue FB (C.I. 44045), Crystal Violet FN (C.I. 42555), Rhodamine FB (C.I. 45170), Astrazone Orange R (C.I. 48040) and/or Astrazone Orange G (C.I. 48035), which are used together with naphtholactam dyes and/or with isoindolenine dyes. The naphtholactam dyes have one or more chromophores of the general basic structure ##STR1## in the molecule, and the isoindolenine dyes have one or more chromophores of the general basic structure ##STR2## in the molecule.

    摘要: An electrophotographic recording element comprising(A) an electrically conducting base and(B) at least one photoconductive layer consisting essentially of(b.sub.1) at least one binder,(b.sub.2) at least one sensitizer which on exposure of layer (B) generates charge carriers and which is selected from the group of the naphtholactam dyes of the general structure I ##STR1## where the indices and variables have specified meanings, (b.sub.3) at least one photoconductor which transports the generated charge carriers and optionally(b.sub.4) additives, and also novel naphtholactam dyes of the general formula I where R.sup.2 is substituted monocyclic 1,3-thiazolyl bonded to the naphtholactam structure via a carbon ring atom, the use of these novel naphtholactams I in electrophotographic and laser-optical recording elements and also novel reprographic processes and novel processes for producing offset printing plates and photoresists using the novel electrophotographic recording element.

    摘要: Naphtholactamsquaric acid dyes of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another are each unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.3 -C.sub.22 -alkyl, in which the alkyl chain may be interrupted by oxygen atoms, or are each unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -aralkyl, unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl or unsubsituted or substituted phenyl, and the rings A, B, C and D are unsubstituted or substituted and/or benzofused, and optical recording materials consisting of a base and a layer which is sensitive to laser light and is composed of a thermoplastic or crosslinked polymer and one or more dyes (I).Because of the high light absorption of (I), the recording materials are very sensitive to light from the GaAlAs semiconductor laser. An excellent signal-to-noise ratio is obtained on reading the recordings.
