Abstract:
A method for enabling a direct reply to a sent message sent by a sender includes receiving the sent message using a messaging system. The identification data of the sender is matched to an address of the message sender using a database, and the address is retrieved. Using the message system, the sent message is forwarded in an electronic form to a recipient so as to enable the recipient to send back a reply message to the sender using the retrieved address.
Abstract:
A method for notifying a sender of an electronic message to a recipient that the recipient has accessed the electronic message includes integrating data into the electronic message so as to associate message identification data with the electronic message before the electronic message is accessed. An access to the electronic message is detected by detecting an access to the integrated data. An access notification is provided to the sender indicating the access to the electronic message.
Abstract:
A method and device for providing a selection option for establishing a communication between at least two terminals is provided. The communication is established on a first terminal of at least two terminals in a network. Each terminal has a public mode and a private mode. The public mode indicates that a user of a respective terminal is available as a communication partner to the other terminals. The private mode indicates that spontaneously establishing contacts via a selection of the selection option is not permitted. The other terminals operating in the public mode are detected when the first terminal is set in public mode and made available as a communication partner to the first terminal. At least one piece of identification information pertaining to the other terminals is displayed for selection on the first terminal.
Abstract:
A method and system for monitoring messages addressed to a first receiver (E1), comprising a first receiver (E1) which contains a first undesirable receiver device (UNE) and which prevents a user of the first receiver (E1) from accessing the undesirable receiver (UNE), wherein a message category is defined as undesirable, and messages which are to be prevented from being made available to a user of the first receiver (E1) a re indicated. Verification occurs as to whether a message (M) addressed to the first receiver (E1) falls into the undesirable category. If the message (M) falls into the undesirable category, it is assigned to the undesirable receiver device (UNE). The first receiver (E1) is configured in such a way that the undesirable receiver (UNE) can only be accessed by a second receiver (E2). The first receiver (E1) is, f or example, an e-mail account of a child and the second receiver E2) is the e-mail account of an adult who can prevent the child from accessing undesirable messages, particularly Spam.
Abstract:
A method of setting up a connection in a communication environment controlled by a communication system between a first node allocated to a first contact and a second node allocated to a second contact includes the steps of providing a contact element within the first node for the first contact, the contact element having graphic and functional properties and graphically representing the second contact, an unambiguous identification and contact data being allocated to the contact element; accessing the contact data using a program and setting up a first connection from the first node to the communication system; checking within the communication system using the unambiguous identification whether the contact element is approved by the communication system for the setting-up of connections; and setting up a second connection to the second node depending on a result of the checking.
Abstract:
A communication system for communicating includes a window-based graphical user interface and a graphical element. The window-based graphical user interface is displayed on a display device. The window-based graphical user interface includes an area defined as a window, and the area is displayed transparently. The graphical element includes non-transparent pixels displayed in the window.
Abstract:
A method for processing messages in a messaging system includes providing a message directed from a sender to a recipient, and integrating a footer into the first message. The footer includes contact information of the recipient.
Abstract:
Method and system of telecommunication between at least two users over a telecommunications network, wherein the first user is connected to the telecommunications network via a first terminal and the second user via a second terminal, and wherein a virtual representative is allocated to each user. A first virtual representative is allocated to the first user and a second virtual representative to the second user. The first and second virtual representatives are presented on the first terminal and on the second terminal. Information is transferred from the first user to the second user and vice versa by an animation of at least one of the first and second representatives and by an interaction between the first and second representatives, wherein at least one of the animation and the interaction takes place in response to a drag & drop command of a user, and wherein an animation of the first virtual representative takes place in response to a command of the first user and an animation of the second virtual representative takes place in response to a command of the second user.
Abstract:
A method of providing and operating an e-mail service (FM), wherein a user account (NK) with multiple folders (PE, PE1, PE2, . . . ) is assigned in each case to Internet users, wherein for the case that the user uses another Internet service (EB), particularly an auction service, which sends information e-mails to the user account (UK) of the e-mail service (FM), a services folder (AA) is provided, and wherein at least the incoming information e-mails from the Internet service (EB) are automatically tested depending on at least one specifiable criterion (ADR, IPA), particularly by testing the header data of the incoming e-mail, and, if the at least one criterion is fulfilled, are assigned to this services folder (AA). Preferably, and irrespective of the assignment of the e-mails to existing logical folders (PE1, PE2, PE3 . . . ), all e-mails which are recognized as auction e-mails are displayed in a common view (MA) and in the form of threads (A1, A2, A3 and A4). Additionally, a search function which is integrated into the e-mail system (FM), and can search by article designation and/or article number of the auction article, is offered to the user.
Abstract:
