摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a medical device, catheter or lead having electrically conductive traces and external electrical contacts. Each trace may be in electrical connection with one or more external electrical contacts. More specifically, each trace is typically electrically connected to a single contact. The traces and contacts may assist in diagnosis and/or detection of bio-electrical signals emitted by organs, and may transmit such signals to a connector or diagnostic device affixed to the catheter. The external electrical contacts may detect bioelectric energy or may deliver electrical energy to a target site. Also disclosed herein is a medical device made in accordance with the method described above.

摘要: An apparatus includes a housing configured to be disposed in a borehole in a resource bearing formation, the housing including an axially extending fluid conduit configured to receive borehole fluid, and a seating assembly including a convertible component that is configured to be actuated to move the convertible component in a radial direction between an open position and a seating position. The convertible component extends radially into the fluid conduit and forms a landing seat for an object when in the seating position, and the convertible component allows passage of the object therethrough when in the open position.

摘要: An apparatus for determining a location of a downhole component includes at least one transmitter device and a receiver device. One of the at least one transmitter device and the receiver device is disposed at a first component of a borehole string configured to be deployed in a borehole and retained at a stationary position, and another of the at least one transmitter device and the receiver device is disposed at a moveable component configured to be moved while the first component is at the stationary position, the at least one transmitter device configured to emit a wireless signal and the receiver device configured to detect the wireless signal when the first component is at the stationary position. The apparatus also includes a processing device configured to receive signal data and estimate a location of the moveable component relative to the first component based on the signal data.

摘要: An object seat including a seat host having a seal bore therein, a seat body dimensioned to be receivable in the seal bore, the seat body having an object receptor. A method for carrying out a pressure operation in a borehole including seating an object on an object receptor of a seat body, the seat body disposed in a seat host, the seat host disposed in the borehole, pressuring against the object, and moving the seat body along an interface between the seat body and the seat host to create a fluid flow pathway through the seat body and seat host interface. A borehole system including a borehole in a formation, an object seat as in any prior embodiment disposed in the borehole.
