    Abstract: A stator core for a rotating electrical machine includes an annular yoke portion; a tooth group fitted to an inner side of the yoke portion and formed such that both ends in a circumferential direction on an inner circumferential side of adjacent teeth are integrally connected with each other by a thin connection portion; and a slot for accommodating a stator winding. The yoke portion has grooves at regular intervals in an inner circumferential surface thereof and extending in an axial direction of the stator, the grooves each having a V shape such that a cross section thereof perpendicular to the axial direction opens toward an inner side of the stator core. Each tooth has, at an outer-circumferential-side end thereof, a fitting portion whose cross section perpendicular to the axial direction is formed in a wedge shape so as to allow the tooth to be fitted along the corresponding groove.

    Abstract: A rotor (1) for a rotary electric machine includes a rotor core (2) including a first core portion (20) having a plurality of core pieces (5, 6) joined together through caulking portions (2a) and a hollow first lightening portion (20a), and a second core portion (21) having a plurality of core pieces (7, 8) joined together through caulking portions (2a) and a press-fit portion (21b). A radial magnetic path width of a ring-shaped outer circumferential portion formed by laminating the first core portion (20) and the second core portion (21) changes along a circumferential direction of the rotor core (2). Therefore, a weight and an inertia can be reduced.

    Abstract: In a rotating electric machine, a rotor core has a rotor core cooling hole under a state of being coupled to a first gap at a position on a radially inner side with respect to a center portion of a first inner wall surface in a length direction. The rotor core has a radially-outer-side refrigerant flow path formed under a state of being coupled to a radially-outer-side end portion of the first gap. A first end plate has a communication path formed so as to extend from an inner end surface of the first end plate to the rotor core cooling hole. A second end plate has a discharge path formed so as to allow the radially-outer-side refrigerant flow path to communicate with an outside.

    Abstract: A rotary electric machine includes: a rotor; and a stator including: a stator core; and an armature winding that is mounted to the stator core. The armature winding includes by a plurality of identical-phase winding portions in which identical-phase coil portions among coil portions in which conducting wires are wound in concentration onto respective teeth are connected together into a series circuit by crossover wires, and that also have lead wires at two end portions. Each of the lead wires of each of the identical-phase winding portions is led out in a first axial direction of the rotor from coil portions that have identical phase, that are disposed to be adjacent in a circumferential direction of the stator core; and all of the crossover wires of each of the identical-phase winding portions are led out in a second axial direction of the rotor.
