摘要: A method of and an apparatus for fabricating a spiral fin in which a strip of material is bent with rolling by a pair of rolls while being imparted with a tension to reduce the speed at which the strip is drawn between the pair of rolls to reduce a compressive force applied to a portion of the strip corresponding to an outer edge portion of the spiral fin, thereby improving the forming limit of the spiral fin.

摘要: To increase production of magnetrons, a spiral fin is wound on a magnetron body as soon as it is produced, and a leading end and a trailing end of the fin are fixed to the magnetron body. This increases the number of turns of the fin wound on the magnetron body and improves the bond strength with which the fin is bonded to the magnetron body to thereby increase the effect achieved by the fin in dissipating heat and avoiding a decline in the performance characteristics of the magnetron.

摘要: A punching method and apparatus for forming through holes by punching in a ceramic green sheet for use as a material of a laminated substrate. Not only the positioning of the work but also the driving of the upper die set are conducted by of servomotors with the speed and timing of operation of the servomotors being controlled in accordance with a prestored program in a microcomputer, so as to attain a high speed and efficiency of operation. In addition, a hole clearing operation is conducted immediately after the punching so that the chip remaining in the punched through hole, if any, is forced out from the through hole by the same punch used in the punching operation.

摘要: An apparatus for performing roll bending on shape metal including a first rolling roll, a second rolling roll having an outer circumferential surface juxtaposed against an outer circumferential surface of the first rolling roll, and third and fourth rolling rolls having outer circumferential surfaces opposed against end faces of the first and second rolling rolls respectively. Two to four rolls selected from the group of the four rolling rolls are used for performing roll bending on shape metal in such a manner that the shape metal has, after being subjected to the roll bending, a thickness which successively decreases in going toward its outer portion from its central portion.

A shaft-like portion of the second metal member is fitted in an annular portion of the first metal member, a restraint ring is disposed on the outer peripheral portion of the annular portion of the first metal member, and the annular portion is pressed to be plastically deformed, whereby the annular portion is made to flow into a coupling groove of the shaft-like portion and the first metal member and the second metal member are coupled to each other through mechanical engagement therebetween.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a hose coupling from an intermediate blank material, the hose coupling having an inner tube or tubular nipple portion, an outer tube or tubular sleeve portion and a head portion, all formed by plastic deformation from an intermediate blank material.
