摘要： A method and apparatus for a game that makes it possible to freely establish a region by expanding or contracting various regions relating to a game with a simple operation. If a closed region for expansion or contraction is moved to a position adjacent to an already established expansion or contraction object region, and an expansion operation performed in a state where a boundary of the closed region for expansion or contraction and a boundary of the object region, the closed region for expansion or contraction is added to the original object region to enlarge the area of the object region. Thus, the boundary displayed overlapping on the object region and the closed region for expansion or contraction are removed, and a single linked boundary is formed on the new object region.

摘要： A toner container for use in an image forming apparatus having a toner receiving section, includes a cylindrical container body in which toner is stored, the cylindrical container body having a toner discharging end and provided with a spiral rib provided on its inner circumferential surface so that toner is conveyed toward the toner discharging end by the spiral rib when the cylindrical container body is rotated, the cylindrical container body further having a cylindrical portion with a discharging port on the toner discharging end; and a sleeve member mounted around the cylindrical portion so that the discharging port is closed by the sleeve member, the sleeve member movable in the axial direction of the cylindrical portion so that when the toner container is attached to the toner receiving section of the image forming apparatus, the sleeve member is moved so as to open the toner discharging port.

摘要： An image display game apparatus has a display screen which displays randomly selected five cards with their faces up. Based on the player's evaluation of the cards, the player selectively presses a first group of push buttons to select unwanted cards and indicate replacement of the cards. When the player presses a push button in a second group, the selected unwanted cards are replaced with new cards. If the new combination of the cards achieves a prize-winning hand, then the player wins and is awarded a credit based on odds for the prize-winning hand. The player then pushes another push button in the second group to receive medals corresponding to the credit. The image display game apparatus has an odds display device which displays a present prize-winning hand and odds thereof, a possible prize-winning hand and odds thereof, and other prize-winning hands and odds thereof in respective display modes, e.g., color shades, different from each other.

The developer includes: a developing sleeve which rotates and holds toner on itself so as to develop a latent image on a photoreceptor with the toner; a driving motor for generating a rotational driving force; a drive transmission for transmitting the rotational driving force of the driving motor to the developing cartridge in which the drive transmission has a transmitting state and an untransmitting state; and a shock easing controller or member for easing a shock of transmission of the rotational driving force to the developing sleeve in the transmitting state, in which the shock easing controller or member is provided in at least one of the driving means and the drive transmission means.

摘要： An ultrasonic humidifier comprising an atomizing chamber 2 containing water which is atomized by an ultrasonic vibration board 4 to be discharged therefrom. A water supply tank 11 is provided with a valve rod 14 having a valve 15 adapted to close a water outlet 13 thereof. The valve rod 14 protrudes by the elastic force of a spring. A water supply tank chamber 5 which, when said water supply tank is mounted therein with the valve rod 14 directed downward, relatively depresses the lower end of the valve rod with the bottom thereof to open the water outlet 13. A valve rod receiving chamber 6 communicates with the tank chamber. The water level of the atomizing chamber 2 is equal to the level of said water outlet 13 of the water supply tank which confronts with the valve rod receiving chamber 6. A water delivering path (17a or 17b) establishing communication between the valve rod receiving chamber 6 and the atomizing chamber is bent and elongated in a horizontal plane thereof.

摘要： The image forming apparatus includes: a developing device to develop an image by using developer; a developer container portion to supply the developer to the developing device; a developer cartridge which is attachable to or detachable from the developer container portion; and a driving means to rotate the developer cartridge. The developer cartridge further includes the following: a) a cartridge main body having a shape which facilitates movement of the developer toward a developer supply port by being rotated around a rotation axis by the driving means; b) a developer supply portion having the developer supply port to supply the developer to the image forming apparatus; and c) an opening/closing covering member to open and close the developer supply port. The opening/closing covering member includes an engagement member to connect the developer supply port with the opening/closing covering member so that the engagement member positions the opening/closing covering member at an opened state of the developer supply port when the developer cartridge is mounted in the image forming apparatus and the developer cartridge is rotated around the rotation axis.
