摘要: A wide band analog frequency divider circuit operable at a high frequency in the GHz band. The analog frequency divider circuit comprises an LC series circuit having a capacitor and an inductor connected between the anode and the cathode of a diode, and means for applying a forward bias to the diode. The input signal is supplied from the anode side of the diode, and the output is delivered from the cathode side, or the anode side if the cathode is grounded.

摘要: A wide band analog frequency divider circuit operable at a high frequency in the GHz band, and a frequency synthesizer utilizing the analog frequency divider circuit. The analog frequency divider circuit comprises an LC series circuit having a capacitor and an inductor connected between the anode and the cathode of a diode, and means for applying a forward bias to the diode. The input signal is supplied from the anode side of the diode, and the output is delivered from the cathode side, or the anode side of the cathode is grounded. The frequency synthesizer is arranged to frequency divide the output of a VCO by the analog frequency divider circuit, and to supply the frequency-divided output to a prescaler. The output of the prescaler is further frequency divided by a programmable divider, and the phase difference between the output of the programmable divider and a reference signal is detected thereby to control the oscillation frequency of the VCO.

摘要: A frequency converter may be employed in communication equipment such as a portable telephone. The frequency converter includes a differential pair consisting of first and second transistors, a current bypass circuit consisting of third and fourth transistors, and a distortion compensating circuit consisting of fifth and sixth transistors. The distortion compensating circuit decreases an emitter-to-base voltage of the sixth transistor when an emitter current of the first transistor is increased, while it increases an emitter-to-base voltage of the fifth transistor when an emitter current of the second transistor is decreased, non-linearts components of the emitter-to-base voltages of the first and second transistors caused by variations of RF (radio-frequency) signals inputted to the first and second transistors are called decreasing distortion of an output signal of the frequency converter caused by the difference in operating point between the first and second transistors.

摘要: A magnetron circuit of a rectangular type is disposed on a lower surface of a rectangular target. A half of the target is covered with a shield plate, so that sputtering particles sputtered from an erosion region (a region with a maximized magnetic flux density) therebelow is blocked so as not to fly toward a substrate. The substrate is disposed at a level so as to be located in a plasma region of a vacuum chamber, and sputtering particles (ZnO) sputtered from a region exposed from the shield plate in the erosion region is caused to be incident on a surface of the substrate. When a gas pressure is lowered, a mean free path of each of the sputtering particles is lengthened to cause a large amount of high-energy sputtering particles to be incident. As a result, a hexagonal crystal particle having a plane that is a crystal plane hardly damaged by incidence of the high-energy sputtering particles is preferentially grown to form a c-axis in-plane oriented film.

摘要: A coin dispensing apparatus having a simple construction and capable of dispensing coins securely and easily. A guide member is arranged extending along a tangent to a column formed in the center of rotation of the disk, whereby the coins can be smoothly transported along the guide member by means of a force from first protrusions without applying an impulsive force to the first protrusions and the guide member. Each coin transported to a predetermined position by the associated first protrusion is further transported to the outside of the transportation limit of the first protrusion by a second protrusion which is associated with a subsequent through hole, and is delivered securely to a coin dispensing port. A stirring rod having a rigid portion with an elliptic section and a rod with a circular section is fixed to the center of rotation of the disk, and the coins in a hopper are stirred by the protuberances on the outer peripheral surface of the rigid portion. Thus, extraordinary rotation of the disk and overloading of a motor, which may be caused by bridging or interference of the coins in the hopper, is prevented.

摘要: This bill accepting device comprises a bill discrimination section for discriminating whether an inserted bill is true or not, an escrow section capable of retaining a bill accepted by the bill discrimination section as a true bill and returning the retained bill and a stocker section provided between the bill discrimination section and the escrow section, including a bill conveying passage connecting the bill discrimination section and the escrow section and receiving a bill being present in the bill conveying passage in a predetermined accumulating location by moving the bill in a direction in which the bill crosses the bill conveying passage. The inserted bill is led to a linear passage in the stocker section through the bill discrimination section. By performing a control operation so as to either carry the bill present in this linear passage to the escrow section or move the bill in a direction in which it crosses the passage, the bill is received in either the escrow section or an accumulating location in the stocker section.
