Abstract:
A method is described that involves operating a computing system within a normal on state and transitioning from the normal on state to a main CPU/OS based state. In the main CPU/OS based state one or more components of the computing system are inactivated so as to cause the computing system to consume less power in the main CPU/OS based state than in the normal on state. The computing system is able to execute software application routines on a main CPU and a main OS of the computing system while in the main CPU/OS based state.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for a user to interface with a mobile computing device is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method comprises sharing a Bluetooth communications module between a primary processor system and a secondary processor system.
Abstract:
The embodiments herein disclose a method and system to view and analyze state model transition on host/equipment for 300 mm standards. A state transition module is developed for effectively viewing and analyzing state model transition occurring on the host/equipment using 300 mm standards. The state transition module can be integrated with any host simulator software/equipment to validate the state machine. The transitions of state models can be viewed at runtime dynamically by reading the actual events from the network ports sent by the equipment/host. The method provides the user interface to know the state model transition including providing a statistical analysis of the job execution and the data collection events.
Abstract:
A computing system is described that includes a main system bus that remains active while said computing system operates within a non main CPU/OS based operational state. The computing system also includes a controller that operates functional tasks while the computing system is within the non main CPU/OS based operational state. The computing system also includes an I/O unit coupled to the main system bus that remains active while the computing system operates within the non main CPU/OS based operational state.

In some embodiments, content is cached on behalf of a mobile device. The cached content is downloaded to the mobile device. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and system enable users to utilize their personal computers (“PCs”) to manage incoming cell phone calls. A cell phone may be coupled to a PC, and the PC may be configured to notify the user of incoming calls or to automatically respond to incoming calls. If the user is notified, an application on the PC may enable the user to view information associated with the call, and select a response option to handle the call. If the PC is configured to respond automatically, the PC may select an appropriate response for the incoming call.

Abstract:
An apparatus for visually authenticating a user, the apparatus including a digital device, a camera coupled to said digital device, and an identity module coupled to said digital device and including a secured memory with a photo image of the user stored therein.
Abstract:
An apparatus comprising a usage analysis engine may be capable of receiving data on the environment of the apparatus, the data used to create a profile. The usage analysis engine may be further capable of correlating a present profile with previous profiles. The apparatus may take some action or prohibits some action based on the correlation of the present profile with the previous profiles provided by the usage analysis engine and may take no action based on lack of correlation of the present profile with the previous profiles provided by the usage analysis engine.
