摘要: An ink-jet printhead and a manufacturing method thereof include a substrate on which a space portion is formed, a passage plate installed on the substrate in which an ink chamber is formed to store ink, a nozzle plate installed at a top surface of the passage plate in which a nozzle is formed to eject the ink, and a vibration plate disposed between the substrate and the passage plate to generate a pressure for ejecting the ink by changing a volume of the ink chamber. The vibration plate includes a base layer formed at a top surface of the substrate so as to cover at least a part of the space portion, a thin film shape memory alloy layer which contacts the ink contained in the ink chamber and varies according to a temperature variation, a heating element disposed between the base layer and the thin film shape memory alloy to generate heat, and an insulating layer disposed between the heating element and the thin film shape memory alloy layer and transfers the heat generated by the heating element to the thin film shape memory alloy layer. Due to a stable temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of the heating element, a height and a width of a voltage supplied to the heat element can be easily controlled, and thus power of the vibration plate can be precisely controlled, thereby having a predetermined image quality, and the heating element does not contact directly the ink, thereby realizing stability of the ink-jet printhead.

摘要: A method of compensating a missing nozzle of a printer and a printer using the same. The method includes determining adjacent nozzles corresponding to the missing nozzle, and compensating the missing nozzle by generating dots having an increased size through the adjacent nozzles and generating dots having a normal size through other nozzles when the missing nozzle is generated in the nozzles performing a printing operation. Therefore, it is possible to compensate operations of all color nozzles as well as the black nozzle. As a result, the method of compensating the missing nozzle of the printer compensates operations of the missing nozzle when an image having a composite color is printed as well as when the black image is printed. In addition, it is possible to maintain appropriate image quality by compensating the operation of the missing nozzle through other adjacent nozzles even when a portion of the adjacent nozzles is out of order, since the number of the adjacent nozzles is larger.

摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for measuring a physical property of ink, the apparatus having a function of determining whether the ink is in an appropriate state for printing by monitoring a change of a physical property of the ink. The apparatus includes an ink storage unit, a printhead module, a physical property measuring unit, a storage unit, and a determination unit. The ink storage unit stores ink and the printhead module is connected to the ink storage unit to eject the ink onto a printing medium. The physical property measuring unit measures an actual value of the physical property of the ink (for example, electrical conductivity), and the storage unit stores a nominal value of the physical property of the ink, wherein the nominal value is determined in advance at a predetermined temperature. The determination unit compares the actual value with the nominal valued of the physical property of the ink and calculates an error therebetween to determine whether the error is within a predetermined error range.

摘要: DRAM and SRAM devices have a NAND interface mode (pins whose address and data are identical to one another are commonly used), directly being coupled to buses (an address/data bus and a control bus) of a NAND-type flash memory device that is connected to a microprocessor. Upon such a common interface mode, a DRAM device, an SRAM device, a NAND-type flash memory device, and a NOR-type flash memory device have the identical interface mode, and are independently (or individually) controlled by only one memory controller.

摘要: A hydraulic control system for 4-speed automatic transmissions in which line pressure, drive pressure, reverse pressure and low pressure are selectively supplied from a manual valve to an underdrive clutch, an overdrive clutch, a low-reverse brake, a reverse clutch, and a second brake to realize four forward speeds and a reverse speed. The hydraulic control system includes an underdrive pressure control valve provided between a drive pressure line and the underdrive clutch, and controlled by a first solenoid valve; an overdrive pressure control valve provided between the drive pressure line and the overdrive clutch, and controlled by a second solenoid valve; a second/low-reverse pressure control valve connected to a line pressure line and controlled by a third solenoid valve; a solenoid switch valve controlled by low pressure, line pressure or drive pressure supplied respectively from a low pressure line, the line pressure line and the drive pressure line, and which supplies hydraulic pressure to the low-reverse brake and the second brake; and a fail-safe valve provided between the solenoid switch valve and the second/low-reverse pressure control valve, and is controlled by operational pressure of the underdrive clutch and overdrive clutch, line pressure, and drive or reverse pressure, the fail-safe valve preventing hydraulic pressure supplied from the second/low-reverse pressure control valve from being simultaneously supplied to the second brake and the low reverse brake. The reverse clutch is directly communicated with the manual valve via a reverse pressure line.
