摘要: A method of manufacturing a light emitting device includes: providing a substrate and a plurality of light sources disposed on the substrate; and forming a plurality of sealing members, each covering a respective one of the plurality of light sources, by supplying a sealing material onto the substrate through a plurality of nozzles of a discharge device. The step of forming the plurality of sealing members includes: performing a first forming step, in which at least one of the sealing members is formed such that a portion of the sealing material is retained dangling from a respective at least one of the plurality of nozzles as at least one dangling thread portion, and successively performing a second forming step, which is started while the at least one dangling thread portion of the sealing material is retained dangling from the at least one of the plurality of nozzles of the discharge device.

摘要: A light emitting device includes a first substrate including a flexible first base member and a first wiring pattern provided on the first base member; a second substrate including a second base member and a second wiring pattern provided on the second base member; and a plurality of light emitting elements mounted on the first wiring pattern. The first substrate includes: a joining end portion that is located at a first, joining end of the first substrate, and that overlaps a portion of the second substrate, and a second end, other than the joining end, that does not overlap the second substrate. The first wiring pattern and the second wiring pattern do not face each other. An electrically conductive joining member is disposed across the first wiring pattern and the second wiring pattern, while partially covering the joining end portion of the first substrate.

摘要: A light emitting device includes a reflective sheet having a light reflecting face; a plurality of oblong flexible substrates; and a plurality of light emitting sections disposed at intervals on a face of each of the flexible substrates. The plurality of the flexible substrates comprises a first group of flexible substrates that are lined up at intervals in a first direction and a second group of flexible substrates that are lined up at intervals in a second direction such that the flexible substrates of the second group intersect the flexible substrates of the first group. The first group and the second group are layered in a thickness direction and adhered to at least one face of the reflective sheet so as to expose the plurality of light emitting sections.
