摘要: A resin composition comprising a high molecular weight compound containing an average of 2 or more hydroxyl groups and an average of 1 or more functional groups selected from the class consisting of alkoxysilane, silanol and acyloxysilane groups per molecule and having a number average molecular weight of 3,000 to 200,000; a low molecular weight compound containing an average of 2 or more epoxy groups per molecule and having a number average molecular weight of 240 to 5,000; and, as a curing catalyst, a metal chelate compound, is curable at a relatively low temperature to yield a film having excellent resistance to weathering.

摘要: A resinous composition containing (A) a high molecular weight hydroxy compound having 2 or more hydroxy groups per molecule and having a number average molecular weight of 3,000 to 200,000, (B) a high molecule weight epoxy compound having 2 or more epoxy groups per molecule and having a number average molecular weight of 120 to 200,000, (C) a silane compound having one or more silicon-containing functional groups per molecule and (D) a chelate of aluminum, titanium or zirconium with a ligand exhibiting ketoenol tautomerism, can be cured at temperatures not exceeding 100.degree. C. and forms a desirable coating when cured.

摘要: Disclosed is a curable composition characterized in that the composition comprises:(i) 100 parts by weight of a polymer mixture of(a) about 5 to about 95% by weight of a polymer (X) containing a specific polysiloxane macromonomer as an essential monomer or a polymer (Y) containing a specific alkoxysilane-containing vinyl monomer as an essential monomer, and(b) about 95 to about 5% by weight of a polymer (Z) containing an epoxy-containing vinyl monomer as an essential monomer; and(ii) about 0.01 to about 30 parts by weight of at least one chelate compound selected from the group consisting of aluminum chelate compound, titanium chelate compound and zirconium chelate compound.

摘要: The present invention provides a curable resin coating composition consisting essentially of:(i) a resin (A) containing .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carbonyl group and primary and/or secondary hydroxyl group, or(ii) a mixture of a resin (B) containing .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carbonyl group and a resin (C) containing primary and/or secondary hydroxyl group, and(iii) at least one curing catalyst selected from the group consisting of alkali metal alkoxides, metal hydroxides, organic acid salts of metals, quaternary ammonium hydroxides, quaternary phosphonium hydroxides, tertiary sulfonium hydroxides and organic acid salts of these onium hydroxides.

摘要: Disclosed are a coating composition (A) for preventing adhesion of organisms which comprises as its vehicle component a homopolymer or a copolymer, the homopolymer being one prepared by homopolymerizing a phenol-modified unsaturated monomer obtained by reacting (a) an unsaturated monomer containing epoxy group and/or hydroxyl group with (b) an addition reaction product of a phenolic compound with a compound having one carboxylic anhydride group per molecule, and the copolymer being one prepared by copolymerizing said phenol-modified unsaturated monomer and a radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer, and also a coating composition (B) for preventing adhesion of organisms which comprises as its vehicle component a phenol-modified resin prepared by reacting (c) a resin containing epoxy group and/or hydroxyl group with (b) and addition reaction product of a phenolic compound with a compound having one carboxylic anhyhdride group per molecule.Also disclosed is a method for preventing adhesion of organisms, characterized by coating a substrate with the coating composition (A) or (B).

摘要: The invention provides a method of forming a cured coating film which comprises exposing a coating composition consisting of, or containing as a main component, a resin containing polymerizable unsaturated group and aprotic onium-containing group of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 means a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group of 1 to 8 carbon atoms which may optionally be substituted by a hydroxyl, alkoxy or ester group or a halogen atom; ##STR2## where Z means a nitrogen atom or phosphorus atom and Y means a sulfur atom; R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are the same or different and respectively mean an organic group of 1 to 14 carbon atoms, provided that R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, or R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may jointly form a heterocyclic group taken together with the adjacent nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur atom, to actinic radiation or electron beams to thereby induce a crosslinking reaction and, then, subjecting the composition to heat treatment at a temperature not less than 80.degree. C.

摘要: A method for forming coating films which can provide coating films having good surface appearance and being excellent in such properties as impact resistance, adhesion to the substrate article, flexibility and chemical resistance, said method comprising coating a powdery composition of a thermoplastic resin having 0.5 to 3.5 polymerizable unsaturated bonds per 1000 of the molecular weight on an article to be coated, heat-melting the powdery resinous composition, and curing the molten film under application of ionizing radiation or ultraviolet radiation.
