    摘要: The invention concerns a slat conveyor in which the extension of the pitch due to the wear of a chain can be easily adjusted without performing the construction work required for conventional conveyors. In the conveyor, slat supporting members support slats adjacent to one another in a travelling direction. Each of the slat supporting members is provided with a first connection portion and a second connection portion for connecting the adjacent slat supporting members and the second connection portion of a succeeding slat supporting member overlaps the first connection portion of a preceding slat supporting member. Coupling shafts are provided, each with a first shaft portion engaged with the first connection portion and a second shaft portion engaged with the second connection portion; the first shaft portion and the second shaft portion are made eccentric from each other on two axes in parallel, and the coupling shaft serves to adjust the interval between the adjacent slats by rotation of its attaching position freely and joins the slat supporting members endlessly into a chain.

    摘要: An article sorting method and a system to perform the method, in which a plurality of articles having different sorting destinations are sorted out in a highly efficient manner by one carriage. The article sorting system includes a carriage (3) movable along a track (5). This carriage has on it a plurality of conveying mechanisms (13a, 13b, 13c and 13d) which are provided on the carriage (3). On these conveying mechanisms, articles (11) can be placed. A control device (23) controls the operations of the plurality of conveying mechanisms (13a, 13b, 13c and 13d) independently of one another. The control device drives the conveying mechanisms (13a, 13b, 13c and 13d) individually according to the sorting destination data of the articles, so that a single or plural articles (11) are sorted out by the individual operations or combined operations of the driving mechanisms (15a, 15b, 15c and 15d).

    摘要: A railway vehicle body tilting system has a height control valve for supplying and discharging compressed air to and from an air spring by an actuator, an auxiliary control valve for supplying compressed air to the air spring and thereby causing a car body to tilt, a backup valve for switching the connection between the air spring and either the height control valve or the auxiliary control valve, and a controller installed in each of vehicles linked together as a train. During normal operation, the controller provided in each of the cars controls the height control valve of the respective car and monitors for faulty operation in other linked controllers. If a fault arises in a linked controller, control over the malfunctioning controller is terminated, and another normal controller controls a backup valve in the car with the malfunctioning control device.

    摘要: A seal structure for a front door of a motor vehicle provided with a door mirror bracket at a front end of a door belt line is composed of a roof weather strip attached along a door opening of a car body, and a door weather strip attached along a periphery of a door panel. The door weather strip is provided with an end portion covering a lower portion of the door mirror bracket and a front upper end of a door inner panel to which a lower end of the door mirror bracket is jointed. An upper part of the end portion has a thickness large enough to fill the step between the door mirror bracket and the door inner panel whereby the end portion of the door weather strip has a continuous smooth surface from its lower part to its upper part to effect a good seal with the opposed roof weather strip when the front door is closed.

    摘要: This sensor state determination system is a sensor state monitoring system capable of accurately determining whether or not a detecting sensor used with a railroad vehicle is in an abnormal state. This system includes: a detecting sensor capable of detecting a physical value acting upon the railroad vehicle; and an electronic control device. A monitoring sensor equivalent to the detection sensor is installed at a position equivalent to the position of the detection sensor. The electronic control device is provided with a determination means (coherence calculation section, state determination section) that computes, based on a first signal detected by the detecting sensor and a second signal detected by the monitoring sensor, a coherence value indicating a correlation between the signals. The electronic control device determines that the detecting sensor is in an abnormal state if the coherence value is smaller than a preset abnormality determination value.

    摘要: A weather strip attached along a door opening of a motor vehicle for sealing between the door opening and a periphery of a door glass has a strip-shaped extruded portion, and a molded end portion jointed to a lower end of the extruded portion. The strip-shaped extruded portion has a longitudinally extending tubular main seal portion and a lip-shaped seal portion which defines a concave groove with the main seal portion. The molded end portion has an extended concave groove extending from the concave groove of the strip-shaped extruded portion to a rear side edge of the molded end portion. During running of a vehicle in rainy weather or during washing of the vehicle, water leaking into the concave groove flows along the extended concave groove and is drained out therefrom without staying at an end of the extended concave groove thereby preventing water from intruding into a vehicle compartment when a vehicle door is opened or closed.
