    Abstract: A display control system includes an image data generation device that generates a plurality of pieces of image data, a storage device that stores the plurality of pieces of image data and a plurality of pieces of position data of holding units, and a display data generation device that generates display data on the basis of the plurality of pieces of image data and position data. The display data is data for aligning and displaying in a fixed direction a plurality of pieces of sample information that includes at least either a plurality of images or a plurality of analysis results, and data that is a result of laying out first sample information and first position information in such a manner that a display device displays the first sample information and the first position information representing a position of a first holding unit corresponding to the first sample information.

    Abstract: The number of cells existing and the positions thereof in a container that contains the cells can be grasped at a glance. Provided is an analysis-result browsing device that includes: a camera that captures cells at set capturing positions; a processing unit that detects and analyzes the cells captured by the camera, for the respective capturing positions; a display unit that displays analysis results of the cells analyzed by the processing unit, together with a container map that shows a container and the plurality of capturing positions in the container; and a control unit that sets the capturing positions in the container, which contains the cells, and simultaneously displays the analysis results of the cells at at least two of the capturing positions on the container map, which is displayed on the display unit.

    Abstract: A cell culture monitoring system includes measuring units housed in an incubator and each equipped with an indicator, the measuring units each measuring a state of cells in a culture container mounted therein; and an administration unit. The administration unit includes a receiver that receives, from each of the measuring units, a state of the cells measured, the state being associated with identification information of the measuring unit; an analyzer that analyzes the state of the cells and computes information indicating a culture state; a storage that stores, in association with each other, the information indicating the culture state and the identification information; a display that displays, in association with each other, the information indicating the culture state and an identification based on the identification information; and a controller that controls the indicators so that each of the indicators displays the identification corresponding to the identification displayed on the display.

    Abstract: An observation device including: an imaging element that captures images of cells contained in a culture vessel; an oblique illumination device that performs oblique illumination to the cells from a plurality of illumination directions, out of the optical axis of the imaging element; a controller that detects the relationship between the position of the culture vessel and the position of the imaging element and that selects the illumination directions of the oblique illumination device on the basis of the detected relationship between the position of the culture vessel and the position of the imaging element; and an image processor that applies, on the basis of the illumination direction of the oblique illumination device, processing for reducing shadows on the cells caused by the oblique illumination, to an image of the cells acquired by the imaging element.
