    Abstract: In an occupant assisting apparatus, a destination arrival determination unit determines whether a vehicle has arrived at a destination of an occupant, a situation determination unit determines whether a surrounding situation is safe for the occupant to exit the vehicle based on a sensing result obtained from a surrounding situation detection sensor for detecting the surrounding situation of the vehicle when the destination arrival determination unit determines that the vehicle has arrived at the destination, and a door lock controller unlocks a door at a doorway of the vehicle when the surrounding situation is determined to be safe for the occupant to exit the vehicle.

    Abstract: A coordinator (10) includes an accepting unit (11), a required resource information calculation unit (13a), an insufficient resource information calculation unit (13b), a combination determination unit (14), and a communication unit (18). The required resource information calculation unit (13a) calculates information regarding resources required to satisfy a request accepted by the accepting unit (11). The insufficient resource information calculation unit (13b) compares the required resources calculated by the required resource information calculation unit (13a) with resources included in each of a plurality of sensor nodes (30, 40, 50), and calculates information regarding an insufficient resource that each sensor node lacks. The combination determination unit (14) determines a combination of resources required to satisfy the request, based on the information regarding the insufficient resource calculated by the insufficient resource information calculation unit (13b).

    Abstract: In a network system, an own subsystem recognition unit is provided in each of subsystems, and holds a state and a function of the own subsystem. A shared information communication unit acquires states and functions of the subsystems. An objective acceptance unit accepts a setting of a target state. A shared storage unit stores knowledge regarding a combination structure of functions of the respective subsystems necessary for realizing the target state.     Abstract: In a passenger assisting apparatus, a passenger information obtaining unit obtains a destination and a contact of a passenger, a state determination unit determines, at the destination for example, whether the passenger is able to exit the vehicle based on a sensing result from a passenger state detection sensor for detecting a state of the passenger. An awakening assistance unit performs an awakening operation for the passenger when the state determination unit determines that the passenger is unable to exit the vehicle, and a contact notification unit provides a notification to the contact obtained by the passenger information obtaining unit when the state determination unit determines that the passenger is unable to exit the vehicle after the awakening operation.
