摘要: A tire for vehicle wheels, includes a carcass structure including at least one carcass layer having opposed side edges associated with relative annular reinforcing structures, a belt structure applied in a radially outer position with respect to the carcass structure, a tread band applied in a radially outer position with respect to the belt structure; a pair of sidewalls laterally applied onto opposite sides with respect to the carcass structure; and at least one antiabrasive strip of elastomeric material applied in an outer position relative to each of the annular reinforcing structures; in which the at least one antiabrasive strip includes a crosslinked elastomeric material obtained by crosslinking of a crosslinkable elastomeric composition including magnesium and/or aluminium silicate inorganic fibres having nanometric dimensions, in which the crosslinked elastomeric material has a dynamic modulus value E′, at 70° C. and at a frequency of 10 Hz, greater than 8 MPa.

摘要: The present invention relates to new vulcanisable elastomeric compositions for components of tyres, comprising modified silicate fibres as fillers. The silicate fibres are modified according to the process with controlled pH of the invention. In addition, the invention regards components of tyres, comprising elastomeric materials obtainable by vulcanisation of said compositions, and tyres for vehicles comprising one or more of said components. The vulcanised elastomeric materials according to the invention are characterised by good static and dynamic mechanical properties, in particular by particularly low hysteresis. Advantageously the tyres of the invention comprising one or more of said components have a limited rolling resistance.

摘要: The present invention regards a solid master elastomeric composition (masterbatch, MB) comprising silicate fibres with needle-shaped morphology of nanometric size, characterised by high fibre content and uniformity, a process advantageous for the preparation thereof and its use in manufacturing tyres for vehicles. Advantageously the present elastomeric composition allows minimising the drawbacks associated with the handling of the powdery fibres in the manufacturing of compounds for tyres, without altering the final performances thereof.

摘要: A vulcanizable elastomeric composition for tire component is described. The vulcanizable elastomeric composition includes modified silicate fibers as fillers. Moreover, the tire component contains elastomeric materials which are obtainable by vulcanization of the vulcanizable elastomeric composition. A tire for vehicles which includes one or more of the tire components is also described. The vulcanized elastomeric materials are characterized by having good static and dynamic mechanical properties, and particularly low hysteresis. Advantageously, the tire which contains one or more of the tire components has a reduced rolling resistance.
