摘要： An improved polyurethane composition useful as an interlayer for safety glass window applications such as bilayer motor vehicle windshields is disclosed. The polyurethane is specially formulated with an organic silane and an organic phosphorus acid to provide a controlled degree of adhesion to glass maintainable under a wide range of humidity and temperature conditions, particularly higher temperature and humidity conditions, which are especially detrimental to the maintenance of adhesion. The controlled degree of adhesion between the polyurethane and the glass provides improved penetration resistance in glasspolyurethane safety glass laminates.
