Abstract: A battery includes a first current collector, a first electrode layer, and a first counter electrode layer. The first counter electrode layer is a counter electrode of the first electrode layer. The first current collector includes a first electroconductive portion, a second electroconductive portion, and a first insulating portion. The first electrode layer is disposed in contact with the first electroconductive portion. The first counter electrode layer is disposed in contact with the second electroconductive portion. The first insulating portion links the first electroconductive portion and the second electroconductive portion. The first current collector is folded at the first insulating portion, whereby the first electrode layer and the first counter electrode layer are positioned facing each other.

The first connecting surface is electrically connected to the first power generation element. The first outer cover body includes a first covering portion provided with a first opening. The first protruding surface protrudes from the first opening toward an outside of the first covering portion. The first covering portion is joined to at least one of the first planar electrode and the first power generation element.

Abstract: Heating reaction container comprises: a first member; a second member; and a third member. An opening is closed by the second member being detachably fitted in the first member and by the third member being detachably fitted in the second member. α1, α2, and α3 satisfy a relation of α3>α2>α1, α3=α2>α1, or α3>α2=α1, where α1 represents a thermal expansion coefficient of a first material of the first member, α2 represents a thermal expansion coefficient of a second material of the second member, and α3 represents a thermal expansion coefficient of a third material of the third member. A gap is present before heating, and a space is sealed, through the heating, by a first contact surface coming into intimate contact with a second contact surface and by a third contact surface coming into intimate contact with a fourth contact surface.

Abstract: A battery includes: a unit cell including an electrode layer, a counter electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer; an electrode current collector; an electrode current collector; a counter electrode current collector; and a seal disposed between the electrode current collector and the counter electrode current collector. The thickness of a first stack portion is larger than the thickness of a second stack portion. The first stack portion includes: a first sealing portion that is at least part of the seal; a part of the electrode current collector that overlaps the first sealing portion; and a part of the counter electrode current collector that overlaps the first sealing portion. The second stack portion includes: the unit cell; a part of the electrode current collector that overlaps the unit cell; and a part of the counter electrode current collector that overlaps the unit cell.

Abstract: A sulfide solid electrolyte material includes a sulfide layer and an oxide layer disposed on the sulfide layer. The sulfide layer contains a sulfide that contains lithium, phosphorus, a halogen, and sulfur. The oxide layer contains an oxide that contains lithium, phosphorus, a halogen, and oxygen. In a 31P-NMR spectrum of the sulfide solid electrolyte material, a first peak component, which is defined within a first chemical shift range from 87.6 to 88.4 ppm, has an intensity equal to or less than 0.42 times that of a second peak component, which is defined within a second chemical shift range from 83.6 to 84.4 ppm.

Abstract: A laminated battery includes a plurality of battery cells which are laminated and a current collecting lead. Each of the plurality of battery cells has a structure in which a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a negative electrode active material layer, and a negative electrode current collector are laminated in this order. The plurality of battery cells include first and second battery cells adjacent to each other. The first battery cell has a surface that faces the second battery cell and includes an exposed surface not in contact with the second battery cell. At least part of the exposed surface does not overlap the second battery cell when viewed from a laminating direction of the battery cells. The current collecting lead is connected to the exposed surface.
