    摘要: An apparatus for precise distance measurement has a multiple frequency generator, a laser transmitter, an optical receiver, a first measuring unit, a second measuring unit and a central processing unit. The laser transmitter outputs a light signal to a target, and the optical receiver receives the reflected light signal and mixes the base frequency signal from the multiple frequency generator and the reflected light signal and further outputs an measurement signal to the first and second measuring units. The first and second measuring units calculate respectively a time difference and a phase difference between the light signal and the reflected light signal. The central processing unit is connected to the first and second measuring units to calculate a precise distance by the time and the phase difference.

    摘要: A laser level with temperature control device (2) and the temperature control method thereof are disclosed. The temperature control device includes a thermal insulation chamber (22), a thermoelectric cooler (25), a control unit (21), and first and second temperature sensors (23, 24). The second temperature sensor is received in the thermal insulation chamber together with a tilt sensor (12). The control unit controls operation of the thermoelectric cooler according to the external and internal temperature signals respectively output by the first and second temperature sensors, so as to adjust the internal temperature inside the thermal insulation chamber to be a calibration temperature point close to the external temperature. Accordingly, the temperature drift problem can be addressed, and the working temperature of the tilt sensor can be maintained in a stable range. Further, the acceptable ambient temperature range within which the tilt sensor works can be expanded.

Moreover, heating may be used in the bonding method to decrease time for bonding the flat glasses and to enhance bonding strength. The combined lens assembly is simply bonded by molecular interaction without any adhesive or cohesive solution used in conventional bonding techniques.

The method comprises the following steps. A laser signal is sent to the target in a first time point. A reflected laser signal reflected by the target is then received.     摘要: A method of fabricating a WDM unit consists of attaching a first and a second GRIN lenses to opposite faces of a WDM filter. A dual fiber pigtail and a single fiber pigtail are mounted in corresponding glass tubes. The glass tube with the dual fiber pigtail and the glass tube with the single fiber pigtail are mounted on the second GRIN lens and the first GRIN lens respectively. The position of the dual fiber pigtail and the single fiber pigtail are adjusted with respect to the second GRIN lens and the first GRIN lens respectively to obtain the best optical property. The invention prevents the WDM filter from tilting during temperature variation by sandwiching the WDM filter in between the two GRIN lenses, and further prevents the WDM unit from increasing the reflection loss and insertion loss.

    摘要: An optical power meter including a photodiode and an amplifier circuit is provided. The photodiode is for generating a current based on the power of a light beam incidents thereon. The amplifier circuit is for converting the current into a voltage and includes an amplifier, a capacitor, a plurality of resistors and a relay. The amplifier includes an inverting input terminal and an output terminal. The capacitor has a first terminal connected with the inverting input terminal and a second terminal connected with the output terminal. Each of the plurality of resistors has a first terminal connected with the inverting input terminal. The relay has a first terminal connected with the output terminal. The relay selectively connects one of the resistors with the output terminal so that the value of the voltage outputted by the output terminal is within a predetermined range. The on-resistance of the relay is not larger than 10 Ω.

    摘要: A high precision laser range finder comprises an APC loop for eliminating a timing jitter problem due to different reflections on a target. The APC loop comprises a laser receiver, a peak holding circuit, an integrator and a high voltage generator. The peak holding circuit is connected with the laser receiver for detecting a signal strength outputted from the laser receiver. The high voltage generator provides the laser driver and laser receiver with voltage so as to control the strength of the emitted laser pulse signal of the laser driver and the gain of the avalanche photo-detector. The integrator is used to eliminate the steady error in the APC loop. Furthermore, a time to amplitude converting circuit comprises an AJD converter for obtaining a distance data and then filtering in a microprocessor to increase the measurement accuracy.
