Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a user equipment (UE). The UE may be configured to transmit a message indicating an identifier (ID) associated with an application to a first edge computing system; receive first information associated with the application in response to transmitting the message, the first information indicating whether at least one second edge computing system configured to provide the application is accessible through at least one cell; and determine a set of cells through which the at least one second edge computing system is accessible based on the first information.

Abstract: In systems and methods for communicating an anomaly notification message to a wireless communication network, a wireless device may generate an anomaly notification message comprising an anomaly notification object in response to determining that the received information satisfies one or more threshold criteria indicative of the anomaly condition, configure the anomaly notification message with a transport layer anomaly code, and send sending the configured anomaly notification message via an anomaly-specific network communication link to a wireless communication network. A communication network device may receive the anomaly notification message, and in response to determining that the anomaly notification message was received via the anomaly-specific network communication link may associate the anomaly notification message with an anomaly priority that is higher than a normal traffic priority.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, by an edge enabler client of the UE, to trigger generation of a shadow application context to support an application that is associated with an application context and that is served by an edge network device. The UE may determine, by the edge enabler client, to transfer support of the application from the application context to the shadow application context, and transfer, by the edge enabler client, support of the application from the application context to the shadow application context. In some aspects, an application context may be transferred between a UE and an edge network directly, without the shadow application context. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for identifying edge application servers (EASs) to support one or more services of an application client (AC) running on a user equipment (UE). An AC of a UE may send a request for an edge enabler client (EEC) of the UE to identify one or more EASs for one or more services of the AC. The EEC may receive the request and may perform an EAS discovery procedure to identify the one or more EASs. The EEC may then send a response to the AC including identifiers of the one or more EASs (e.g., if the EAS discovery procedure indicated that these EASs are available). Once the AC receives the response, the AC may connect to each EAS of the EASs indicated by the EEC to support a corresponding service of the AC.

Abstract: Various aspects include methods for supporting remote Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) profile provisioning that may be performed by a Lightweight Machine-to-Machine (LwM2M) server and LwM2M client computing devices, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices. A LwM2M server may generate a remote SIM provisioning object for the LwM2M client computing device indicating that the SIM profile update for the LwM2M client computing device is available, and send the remote SIM provisioning object to the LwM2M client computing device. A LwM2M client computing device may receive a remote Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) provisioning object from a LwM2M server indicating that a SIM profile update for the LwM2M client computing device is available, and download the SIM profile update in response to receiving the remote SIM provisioning object.
