    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for identifying edge application servers (EASs) to support one or more services of an application client (AC) running on a user equipment (UE). An AC of a UE may send a request for an edge enabler client (EEC) of the UE to identify one or more EASs for one or more services of the AC. The EEC may receive the request and may perform an EAS discovery procedure to identify the one or more EASs. The EEC may then send a response to the AC including identifiers of the one or more EASs (e.g., if the EAS discovery procedure indicated that these EASs are available). Once the AC receives the response, the AC may connect to each EAS of the EASs indicated by the EEC to support a corresponding service of the AC.

A first wireless communication device may send capability information to the network indicating that the first wireless communication device supports a location services protocol but does not support location services notifications. Upon receiving this capability information, the network may refrain from performing a privacy check procedure directed to the first wireless communication device. As another example, the network may refrain from performing a privacy check procedure directed to the first wireless communication device based on a determination that the first wireless communication device performs a relay function (or otherwise does not support location services notifications or user interaction). As yet another example, the network may determine, based on a privacy profile of the first wireless communication device, that the first wireless communication device is a type of device that is not associated with privacy checks.

A user equipment, UE, may identify (305) that the UE is not connected with a first network to which the UE subscribes, and identify a fallback configuration (310). The UE may determine (315), based on the fallback configuration, a second network of one or more other networks with which the UE is to connect. The UE may attempt (320) to connect with the second network based on the fallback configuration and the UE not being connected with the first network. In some cases, a base station of a network may establish a connection with UEs based on receiving registration messages from the UEs in response to transmitting an indication that the network is available as a fallback network, identify a congestion level of the network and switch to a non-subscriber rejection mode in which the base station rejects connection with non-subscriber UEs.

Generally, a network may establish a multiple access (MA) packet data unit (PDU) session for a local area data network (LADN) and may reconfigure a registration area to map to a LADN service area. A network may establish an MA PDU session for an LADN, but may steer traffic to only one of two access links. A network may reject a request for an MA PDU if it is for an LADN. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to trigger a UE registration update or other location information if it leaves an LADN service area while in an idle mode with one access network and a connected mode with the other access network. A UE may request LADN registration, and the network may provide the UE with an indication that MA PDU sessions for the LADN are not supported.
