Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques for drug delivery measurement. A medicine delivery device includes a cartridge for storing a medicine, a needle assembly coupled to a bottom of the cartridge, a piston located in the cartridge for pushing the medicine to dispense the medicine from the cartridge through the needle assembly, and a sensor configured to measure a distance between the piston and the bottom of the cartridge. The sensor includes a triangulation-based distance measurement unit, a resonant frequency-based distance measurement unit, a time-of-flight-based distance measurement unit, or a frequency-modulated continuous-wave time-of-flight-based distance measurement unit.

Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed for managing a resource of a communication device configured to process and communicate medical data in addition to other data. The systems and devices may implement the method, including determining whether to switch to a medical mode based on at least one signal. In response to determining to switch to the medical mode, the communication device may be switched to the medical mode. A resource status associated with a plurality of resources used by the communication device may be weighed against a medical data criticality associated with the medical data managed by the communication device. The method may include allocating a resource of the plurality of resources on a sliding priority scale. The allocating may include allocating a resource of the plurality of resources preferentially to the medical data over the other data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for emergency response using voice and sensor data capture are presented. One example method includes transmitting, by a user device, an emergency call request to an emergency services provider; prior to the emergency call request being answered: recording, by the user device, audio signals comprising speech signals; and obtaining one or more keywords from recognized words based on the speech signals; and after detecting an emergency call connection: generating a message to the emergency services provider, the message comprising at least one annotation based on the keywords; and transmitting, by the user device, the message to the emergency services provider
