Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. An access point (AP) transmits instructions to quiet a dynamic frequency selection (DFS) home channel for a period of time. Instructions can include a quiet information element (IE) or a clear-to-send to self (CTS2Self) frame. The AP then allocates a first dedicated RF chain to a first media access control (MAC) component and a second dedicated RF chain, separate from the first dedicated RF chain, to a second MAC component of the access point. The allocation can include reducing the number of RF chains dedicated to the first MAC component. During the time period determined by the instructions, the first dedicated RF chain scans the home DFS channel and the second dedicated RF chain scans at least one other channel (e.g., based at least in part on the time period and channel scan priority) in the same band as the DFS home channel.

Abstract: Techniques for providing a secure Fine Timing Measurement (FTM) exchange between two wireless transceivers are disclosed. An example of a method according to the disclosure include transmitting a protected FTM range request message with a Dialog Token of a FTM frame, receiving a protected FTM range report message from a station, wherein the protected FTM range report message includes FTM information, and authenticating the station based at least in part on the FTM information included in the protected FTM range report message.

Abstract: Described embodiments are directed to systems, methods, and apparatuses for dynamically scheduling channel dwell times across two or more channels across a single radio using Multi-Channel Concurrency. Communications may be transmitted and/or received over a first channel of the radio during a first dwell time of a dwell period and over a second channel of the radio during a second dwell time of the dwell period. Some embodiments include adjusting the dwell period and/or dwell time spent actively transmitting or receiving on two or more channels based on measured channel utilization metrics, to drive toward a balanced utilization across the two or more channels. Other embodiments include adjusting the dwell period and/or dwell time of multiple channels based on latency information and/or priority information of at least one of the channels.
