Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may disconnect from a first radio access technology (RAT) service, independent of signaling from the first RAT service, after sensing that the UE has entered a coverage hole. The UE may use a connection to a second RAT service while in the coverage hole in association with disconnecting from the first RAT service. The UE may disconnect from the second RAT service, independent of signaling from the second RAT service, after sensing that the UE has exited the coverage hole and before expiration of a radio link failure (RLF) timer for the second RAT service. The UE may reconnect to the first RAT service before expiration of an RLF timer for the first RAT service. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for enhanced inter-frequency detection between misaligned base stations are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may determine that a neighbor cell associated with a first frequency is misaligned with a serving cell associated with a second frequency different than the first frequency based on first measurements of the neighbor cell within a first measurement gap window having a first length. The UE may detect a location of a synchronization signal block (SSB) associated with the neighbor cell within a second measurement gap window having a second length greater than the first length. The UE may determine an alignment offset between the location of the SSB and the first measurement gap window. The UE may obtain second measurements of the neighbor cell within a third measurement gap window that includes the location of the SSB based on the alignment offset and parameters of the SSB.

Abstract: The present methods and apparatus relate to interference mitigation at a user equipment during wireless communication, comprising determining that a first portion of a first radio access technology (RAT) activity scheduled during a first time slot overlaps in duration with a second portion of a second RAT activity scheduled during a second time slot; excluding the first portion of the first RAT activity based at least in part on determining that the first portion of the first RAT activity overlaps in duration with the second portion of the second RAT activity; and performing a non-overlap portion of the first RAT activity during the first time slot, wherein the non-overlap portion of the first RAT activity is a portion of the first RAT activity that remains after excluding of the first portion of the first RAT activity.

The UE may reuse at least a first measurement of the one or more measurements for a second connection with the network. Abstract: In a dual network link scenario, a wireless network may provide a user equipment (UE) with a measurement configuration indicating multiple inter-frequency measurement objects during an off duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle configured on a first network link. The UE may assign the inter-frequency measurement objects to a second network link if the second network link has an always-on configuration. Alternatively, if the second network link has a DRX configuration, the UE may perform some inter-frequency measurement activities on the first network link and assign some inter-frequency measurement objects to unoccupied gap occasions in the off duration for the DRX cycle configured on the second network link. In this way, the UE may save power by spending more time in a low power state, and mobility performance for the UE may be improved by increasing the efficiency and reliability of inter-frequency measurement activities.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may divide a measurement of a cell into two or more portions. The UE may receive a control message that indicates a request to perform the measurement and a target frequency associated with the measurement. In some examples, the UE may generate at least a first radio frequency (RF) script during an on duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle based on the target frequency. The UE may perform at least a portion of the measurement during an off duration of the DRX cycle based on the first RF script. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may generate the first RF script and perform the portion of the measurement during an off duration of a DRX cycle and the UE may generate a second RF script during an off duration of a second DRX cycle.
