摘要: In certain aspects, a method implemented in a wireless device includes determining a specific absorption rate (SAR) distribution for a first wireless communication technology, determining a power density (PD) distribution for a second wireless communication technology, and combining the SAR distribution and the PD distribution to generate a combined RF exposure distribution. The method also includes determining at least one first maximum allowable power level and at least one second maximum allowable power level for a future time slot based on the combined RF exposure distribution, setting at least one transmission power limit for a first transmitter in the future time slot based on the at least one first maximum allowable power level, and setting at least one transmission power limit for a second transmitter in the future time slot based on the at least one second maximum allowable power level.

摘要: In order to maintain conformance with exposure limits, in band measurements may be performed. A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus may be provided for wireless communication at a user equipment. The apparatus receives an indication of a cell specific resource, e.g., a cell specific resource available for MPE measurement. The apparatus then performs a measurement based on the cell specific resource and determines whether to adjust a transmission characteristic of the user equipment based on whether the measurement meets a threshold. In another aspect a base station apparatus may configure a cell specific resource in which a user equipment may perform an MPE measurement and control use of the cell specific resource for the MPE measurement.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for distinguishing between an antenna of a user equipment (UE) being blocked by a cover or by human tissue. The transmission power of uplink signals may be adjusted accordingly, with higher transmission power for open space (OS) or a cover and lower transmission power for tissue. One example method for wireless communications by a UE generally includes receiving a plurality of cross-polarization captures from multiple antenna arrays of the UE; detecting that the cross-polarization captures correspond to a first OS circle in an in-phase/quadrature (IQ) plane out of a set of possible OS circles for the UE; based on the detection, assigning the first OS circle as an active OS circle for the UE and deactivating other possible OS circles in the set; determining an environmental scenario corresponding to the active OS circle; and transmitting a signal using a transmission power based on the determined scenario.

摘要: A single receiver to process multiple signals to achieve carrier aggregation includes a main path, an auxiliary path and one or more local oscillators. The main path has an input that receives an input signal. The input signal includes non-contiguous wanted signals and a jammer signal. The single receiver also includes an output coupled to a modem. The output provides the wanted signals to the modem. The auxiliary path is coupled to ground and includes an N-path filter. The N-path filter has multiple mixers. The N-path filter filters out at least a portion of the jammer signal in one or more gaps between the non-contiguous wanted signals in a same frequency band. The one or more local oscillators are coupled to the main path and/or the auxiliary path to provide a first reference signal to the main path and/or to the N-path filter of the auxiliary path.

摘要: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for determining one or more attributes of at least one target based on eigenspace analysis of radar signals are presented. In some embodiments, a subset of eigenvectors to use for forming a signal or noise subspace is identified based on principal component analysis. In some embodiments, the subset of eigenvectors is identified based on estimating the total number of targets using a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) or other spectral analysis technique. In some embodiments, a DFT is used to identify areas of interest in which to perform eigenspace analysis. In some embodiments, a DFT is used to estimate one attribute of a target, and eigenspace analysis is performed to estimate a different attribute of the target, with the results being combined to generate a multi-dimensional representation of a field of view.

摘要: Aspects relate to a calibration of an antenna array module of a wireless communication device in open space. The antenna array module may be used as a proximity sensor to detect an object's proximity relative to the antenna array module. Aspects include displaying an open space calibration instruction on a display of the wireless communication device, transmitting a proximity test signal from the antenna array module, measuring a value of a first signal received at the antenna array module in response to transmitting the proximity test signal, and storing the value of the first signal as an open space calibration value of the antenna array module. The first signal may be measured at cross-polarized antennas of the antenna array module. The value of the first signal may be representative of perturbations of the proximity test signal at the cross-polarized antennas.

In one embodiment, a first wireless communication device determines a BSR based on at least a first data size and a predicted data size. The first wireless communication device transmits to a second wireless communication device, the BSR. The first wireless communication device receives from the second wireless communication device, a scheduling grant in response to the BSR. The first wireless communication device transmits to the second wireless communication device, a communication signal based on the scheduling grant.
