The invention relates to a thermoplastic composition having improved fluidity in the molten state, comprising at least: (a) a polyamide that has a melt viscosity greater than or equal to 50 Pa·s, and (b) a non-evolutive polyamide having a melt viscosity lower than the melt viscosity of said polyamide (a), above 0.8 Pa·s, and having a number-average molecular weight Mn lower than that of said polyamide (a), said composition having a melt viscosity that is stabilized at a value below the melt viscosity of said polyamide (a), said polyamide (b) having: a concentration of amine end groups (AEG) and/or of carboxyl end groups (CEG) less than or equal to 20 meq/kg, or a concentration of amine end groups (AEG) greater than or equal to 25 meq/kg; a concentration of acid end groups (CEG) greater than or equal to 25 meq/kg; and a concentration of blocked end groups (BEG) greater than or equal to 25 meq/kg.

The present invention relates to a novel polyamide synthesized from biobased monomers. The novel polyamide comprises the repeating unit of formula (I) below: Formula (I), in which R represents a covalent bond or a divalent hydrocarbon-based chosen from saturated or unsaturated aliphatics, saturated or unsaturated cycloaliphatics, aromatics, arylaliphatics and alkylaromatics. The present invention also relates to the process for preparing the said polyamide, to its uses, and to articles and compositions comprising the polyamide.

The invention relates to navel thermoplastic (co)polyimides and to the methods of synthesis thereof. The invention specifically relates to semi-aromatic thermoplastic (co)polyimides obtained by polymerisation of at least one aromatic compound comprising two anhydride functions and/or the derivatives thereof, especially carboxylic acid and/or ester, and at least one diamine of formula (I) NH2—R—NH2 wherein R is a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbonated divalent radical, the two amine functions thereof being separated by 4 to 6 carbon atoms, and 1 or 2 hydrogen atoms of the divalent radical being substituted by 1 or 2 methyl and/or ethyl groups. Said (co)polyimides can be transformed into plastic items by various methods such as extrusion, moulding or blowing.

The invention relates to a process for producing aromatic polyimides, comprising the following steps: (a) preparation of one or more solid salt(s) by reacting one or more aromatic tetracarboxylic acid(s) and one or more diamine(s) according to a mole ratio ranging from 0.95 to 1.05; (b) drying of the solid salt(s), (c) addition, to the dry salt resulting from step (b), of one or more compound(s) (C) comprising one or more group(s) chosen from a carboxylic acid group, an anhydride group, an ester group and an acyl chloride group; (d) solid-state polymerization of said solid salt(s) in the presence of the compound(s) (C).

The present invention relates to semiaromatic and semicrystalline thermoplastic polyimides obtained by polymerization of at least one aromatic compound comprising two anhydride functions and/or carboxylic acid and/or ester derivatives thereof and a diamine comprising between 13 and 22 carbon atoms. These polyimides may be converted into plastic articles by various methods, such as injection-molding.
