摘要： Devices, systems, and methods for performing ablation therapy on body tissue are disclosed. An example ablation device for treating body tissue includes an ionically conductive balloon and a radio-frequency electrode that delivers RF energy into a distal section of the balloon. The balloon is configured to transmit the RF energy in a direction distally towards a leading end of the ablation device. Multiple ablation electrodes on the device can be used for providing lesions of different size or shape.

摘要： A device for sealing a left atrial appendage includes an anchor element, a sealing element, and a coupling element. The anchor element is configured to anchor the device to tissue in or adjacent the left atrial appendage. 摘要： A solution of amphiphilic molecules and water is atomized to form a mist of droplets which are deposited on a substrate surface to completely cover same with a coating of the solution. The amphiphilic molecules in the coating self-assemble on the surface into a continuous thin film that is less than 500 nanometers thick. The water is evaporated from the coating to leave only the film chemically bonded to the surface.
