    摘要: Selected data packets that were broadcast over millimeter microwave frequencies to millimeter microwave receiving stations in a millimeter microwave broadcasting system footprint are rebroadcast. Rebroadcasting is selected based upon an indication that is received from a subset of the millimeter microwave receiving stations, that the one or more data packets were not received successfully by the subset of the millimeter microwave receiving stations. Selective rebroadcasting may be performed based upon statistical analysis of indications that are received from the subset of the millimeter microwave receiving stations.

    摘要: A base station selectively communicates with terminals using first and second separately allocated frequency bands, e.g., separate cellular/PCS bands, of a government spectrum allocation based on propagation conditions between the base station and the terminals. The base station may transmit in the first frequency band and receive in the second frequency band during a first time slot and transmit in the second frequency band and receive in the first frequency band during a second time slot. The base station may transmit to a terminal in the first frequency band while receiving from the terminal in the second frequency band during the first time slot and may transmit to the first terminal in the second frequency band while receiving from the first terminal in the first frequency band during the second time slot.

    摘要: Blends of siloxane copolymers, notably siloxane polyimides, with polyaryl esters or polyaryl ester carbonates containing linkages derived from resorcinol, show improved flame resistance, as measured by two minute and peak heat release, compared to conventional polycarbonates. In some instances transparent flame retardant blends can also be prepared. The compositions show good melt processability, high impact strength and high elongation, and can be used to make various flame retardant articles including sheets and films.
