摘要: A pulled membrane spring clutch, whereby the membrane spring is supported with its outside diameter on a plate spring, which membrane spring has a rather large load pressure. The resulting load pressure acts on a mechanism which makes an automatic adjustment to compensate for wear to the friction linings, whereby the membrane spring retains its position relative to the clutch housing.

摘要: A pressure plate assembly for a friction clutch includes a housing, a pressing plate arranged to rotate with the housing, and a force accumulator arranged to exert an axial force on the pressing plate. A wear take-up element between the accumulator and the pressing plate moves to adjust for wear, and an adjusting member is brought into a take-up starting position when wear occurs and is acted on by centrifugal force in order to carry out an adjusting movement wherein the adjusting member moves out of the take-up starting position. The adjusting member cooperates with the wear take-up element by way of a transmission member which moves with respect to the wear take-up element when the adjusting member is brought into the take-up starting position. During the adjusting movement, the transmission member is acted upon by the adjusting member and moves jointly with the wear take-up element.

摘要: A pressure plate assembly for a multi-disk clutch includes a housing arrangement, a pressure plate mounted in the housing arrangement with freedom to move in the same direction as an axis of rotation but connected to the housing with essentially no freedom of rotation and an intermediate plate mounted in the housing arrangement with freedom to move in the same direction as the axis of rotation but connected to the housing with essentially no freedom of rotation. A release distance preset arrangement for the intermediate plate includes at least one sensing element on the intermediate plate which rests on an assembly which shifts position during the performance of a releasing movement of the pressure plate. The at least one sensing element allows the intermediate plate to execute a releasing movement corresponding to the shift of this assembly. The at least one sensing element contacting the assembly is pretensioned by an intermediate plate release force-generating arrangement acting on the intermediate plate. At least one rotational coupling projection is arranged on either the intermediate plate or the housing arrangement which fits in a rotational coupling recess the other of the intermediate plate or the housing arrangement to produce a rotational coupling between the intermediate plate and the housing arrangement.

摘要: A process for adjusting a friction clutch system of the type including a housing arrangement; a pressure plate; a stored-energy device supported against the housing and the pressure plate; a wear-compensating device installed in the path of support between the stored-energy device and one of the housing arrangement and the pressure plate, this device having a detection element on the pressure plate, which in association with a stop element fixed with respect to the housing arrangement, detects the amount of wear which has occurred in the friction clutch; a clutch-release mechanism for exerting force on the stored-energy device in the direction opposite its relaxation direction in order to carry out release operations; and a transmission shaft braking arrangement which is activated when a brake-release position is reached during a clutch-release operation. The process includes the following steps: (a) using the clutch-release arrangement to adjust the stored-energy device to a basic pretension position from which the clutch-release arrangement moves through a brake-release stroke to reach a brake-release position; and (b) while the stored-energy device is held in the basic pretension position, adjusting at least one of the stop element and the detection element in such a way that the stored-energy device is released from the basic pretension position and the subsequent relaxation of the stored-energy device beyond the basic pretension position results in the activation of the wear-compensating device in such a way that, after completion of an adjustment process, the stored-energy device is still essentially in its basic pretension position when the friction clutch is engaged.

摘要: A pressure plate assembly for a friction clutch includes a housing for mounting to a centrifugal mass; a pressure plate, which is mounted in the housing with freedom to move in the same direction as that in which a rotational axis (A) extends; a stored-energy element; and a wear-compensating device, acting in the path of force transmission between the stored-energy element and the pressure plate, where the wear-compensating device has at least one adjusting element able to move in an adjusting direction to compensate for wear. A clearance-producing arrangement includes a gripping element provided on the pressure plate, which, when wear occurs, comes to rest or can be brought to rest against a blocking element, which is fixed or can be fixed in place relative to the housing arrangement. During or after the connection of the housing arrangement to the centrifugal mass arrangement, the blocking element arrives in or can be brought into a state in which it can enter into a blocking interaction with the associated gripping element.

The clutch system has at least two flywheel masses which are rotatable relative to each other. A first flywheel mass comprises at least one primary flange which is permanently connected to the crankshaft. The clutch system also includes an electric machine which has a rotor with a rotor carrier, the electric machine being arranged in the clutch system so that the primary flange is part of the rotor carrier.

摘要: A motor vehicle friction clutch with automatic wear adjustment comprises a flywheel which rotates about a rotational axis, a clutch housing positioned with contact on the flywheel to turn with the flywheel, a pressure plate that is non-rotationally connected to the clutch housing and can be axially displaced with respect to the flywheel and a clutch disc that is rotationally arranged between the pressure plate and the flywheel with interposition of friction linings around the rotational axis in relation to the flywheel. A membrane spring element is installed to pre-stress the pressure plate in the direction of the flywheel. At least one clearance sensor is provided at the pressure plate and the clearance sensor has a control lever segment which acts with the wear adjustment device and an axial stop segment which acts with the flywheel. Through a friction ratcheting of the control lever segment, the clearance sensor is fixated on the pressure plate by pre-stressing in the axial direction.

摘要: In order to secure the flywheel (5) of a motor vehicle friction clutch (3) to the output end of a crankshaft (23) of an internal combustion engine, it is proposed that the flywheel (5) is fastened to the output end of the crankshaft (23) by means of an axially detachable centric clamping arrangement (21). The flywheel (5) is hereby supported on a pipe end (37) of the crankshaft (23). Conical expansion elements (45), which may be axially displaced by means of a centric screw element (43) to generate radial clamping forces, are inserted into the centric cavity formed by the pipe end (37). The screw element (43) is structured in such a way that it may be screwed through the hub (27) of a clutch disc (9) of the friction clutch onto the crankshaft (23) by means of a screw attachment tool (51). The friction clutch (3) may thus be preassembled together with the flywheel (5) to form a structural unit before it is secured to the crankshaft (23) .
