摘要: A power supply device of a hybrid car includes a driving battery 1 and a battery management system 2. The driving battery 1 can supply electric power to an electric motor 13 for driving the car. The battery management system 2 detects SOC of the driving battery 1, and transmits the detected SOC to the car. The battery management system 2 stores maximum SOC and minimum SOC relating to transmission of SOC to the car. When the detected SOC of the battery falls within a range between the maximum SOC and the minimum SOC, the detected SOC of the battery is transmitted to the car. When the detected SOC is not lower than the maximum SOC, the maximum SOC is transmitted to the car. When the detected SOC of the battery is not higher than the minimum SOC, the minimum SOC is transmitted to the car.

摘要: A power supply device according to the present invention includes a detector, a memory, and a determinator. The detector detects internal resistance, temperature, and SOC of a battery. The memory stores record data and a predetermined SOC range as storage data. The record data is used for estimating standardized available power at standard SOC temperature corresponding to the detected internal resistance and temperature. If the detected SOC of the battery falls within the range, the determinator estimates standardized available power at the standard SOC and temperature based on the detected internal resistance and temperature, and the record data. When the internal resistance, temperature, and SOC are detected by the detector, if the detected SOC falls within the range, the determinator estimates standardized available power at standard SOC temperature based on the detected internal resistance and temperature, and the record data.

摘要: A variable valve timing mechanism changes a relative rotation phase of a camshaft to a target phase based on hydraulic pressure supplied to an advance and a retard sides pressure chambers. A lock mechanism is placed in a locked state in which the relative rotation phase is locked at a maximum retard phase when the hydraulic pressure in the advance and the retard side pressure chambers is low, and that is placed in an unlocked state in which the locked state is released when the hydraulic pressure becomes high. Hydraulic pressure regulations in a first mode that changes the relative rotation phase to a side toward the maximum retard phase and in a second mode that changes the relative rotation phase to a side away from the maximum retard phase are executed in combination during a period from when an operating switch is turned off until a crankshaft stops rotating.

摘要: A method of polishing a semiconductor substrate surface having at least one ruthenium feature thereon and at least one dielectric material, wherein the substrate is contacted with an aqueous composition containing from about 0.0005 to about 1 moles/kilogram of periodic acid, from about 0.2% to about 6% % by weight of silica abrasive having an average particle size of about 50 nm or less, and an amine in an amount sufficient to adjust the pH of the composition to between about 2.5 and 7. The removal selectivity of the ruthenium to a. low-K dielectric is greater than 20:1. Advantageously, the substrate further has a tantalum-containing compound, and the polishing rate of the tantalum-containing compound is about the same as the polishing rate of the ruthenium, so that the polishing process is a one-step process.

摘要: An onboard navigation apparatus provides travel guidance on a road including a plurality of roadways heading in the same direction. The road specifically includes a special roadway such as a carpool lane having no exits to other roads, an ordinary roadway having exits to the other roads and a predetermined traveling-path changing area provided as a sole area allowing a vehicle to change a traveling path thereof between the special roadway and the ordinary roadway. The apparatus determines a present position of a vehicle, determines whether the detected position is in the special roadway or in an ordinary roadway. The apparatus provides, in addition to normal travel guidance, information on the traveling-path changing area existing ahead of the vehicle on a display, when the detected position is in the special roadway.
