    摘要： An asymmetrical half-bridge power converter and a method of manufacturing the same. In one embodiment, the asymmetrical half-bridge power converter includes: (1) first and second power switches configured to be controlled by complementary drive signals having nominal first and second duty cycles of D and 1-D, respectively and (2) first and second capacitors, having intrinsic capacitance values proportional to 1-D and D, respectively, and intrinsic equivalent series resistance (ESR) values proportional to D and 1-D, respectively, configured to reduce input ripple current associated with the asymmetrical half-bridge power converter.

    摘要： An asymmetrical half-bridge converter, a method of operating the same and a power supply that incorporates either the converter or the method. In one embodiment, the converter includes: (1) a power transformer that receives asymmetrical AC input power into a primary winding thereof via an input capacitor, the asymmetrical AC input power inducing a DC bias current in a secondary winding of the power transformer and (2) first and second serially-coupled output inductors coupled across the secondary winding and having parasitic resistances associated therewith that are independently selectable to attenuate the DC bias circuit in the secondary winding.

    摘要： For use in a power supply having a rectifying diode and a snubber circuit that includes a snubber inductor for absorbing a portion of a reverse recovery current associated with the rectifying diode, a circuit and method for resetting the snubber inductor and a power supply employing the circuit and method. In one embodiment, the circuit includes a reset capacitor, coupled to the snubber inductor, that has sufficient capacity to impress a resetting voltage across the snubber inductor. The circuit also includes an activation circuit, coupled between the reset capacitor and an output of the power supply, that creates a voltage differential between the reset capacitor and the output to allow the reset capacitor to attain the resetting voltage.

    摘要： An informative priors image search result summarization system and method that summarizes image search results based on the image relevance (as determined by a search engine's initial ranking) and the image quality. Embodiments of the system and method cluster the image search results, rank images within each cluster based on a computed image score, and then select a summary image for the cluster. Each cluster is analyzed and an image in the cluster having the maximum image score is included in a selected summary collection. The image score is computed using the image relevance and the image quality, as well as a cluster coherence, a density, and a diversity. The selection of images from a collection of candidate images generates an image search result summarization, which is presented to a user. The summaries are presented to the user in a ranked order based on their image scores.
