摘要: The invention relates to an illumination system (50), a beam-control element and a light source (30). The illumination system comprises the light source for emitting a light beam and a beam-control element for controlling the shape and/or direction of the light beam. The beam-control element comprises a resilient layer (2a) and a further layer (4a) being arranged substantially parallel to each other, the resilient layer comprising a relief (21) on a surface of the resilient layer arranged substantially parallel to the further layer, or the further layer comprising the relief on a surface of the further layer facing the resilient layer. The illumination system further comprises moving means (52) for moving the resilient layer and the further layer with respect to each other for reducing the relief by applying a pressure between the resilient layer and the further layer. The relief controls the shape and/or direction of the light-beam. When the relief is reduced by applying pressure, the light beam is substantially unaltered by the beam-control element.

摘要: A luminescent converter 200, 220, 240, 260, a phosphor-enhanced light source and a luminaire are provided. The luminescent converter 200 comprises a first organic luminescent material 202, a second organic luminescent material 208 and a third inorganic luminescent material 206. The first organic luminescent material 202, the second organic luminescent material 208 and the inorganic luminescent material 206 absorb a portion of light emitted by the light source and/or absorbs a portion of light emitted by at least one of the other luminescent materials. The first organic luminescent material 202 converts at least a part of the absorbed light into light of a first color distribution. The second organic luminescent material 208 converts at least a part of the absorbed light into light of a second color distribution. The inorganic luminescent material 206 converts at least a part of the absorbed light into a third color distribution to compensate self-absorption of light by at least one of the first organic luminescent material 202 and the second organic luminescent material 208.

摘要: The invention relates to a lighting apparatus (1) for generating a light pattern. A light source (4) generates a light beam (5) for being directed onto a liquid crystal cell (2). The liquid crystal cell (2) comprises a periodic structure (3). If voltage is applied to the liquid crystal cell (2) by a voltage source (8), a period phase pattern is generated. The liquid crystal cell (2) and the light source (4) are adapted such that multiple separate light beams (6) are generated in different directions by diffraction at the generated periodic phase pattern, wherein the multiple separate light beams (6) form the light pattern (7). Since the light pattern is generated by diffraction at the periodic phase pattern, which is modifiable by applying voltage, different light patterns can be generated, in particular, for decorative purposes, in a technically relatively simple way.
