摘要： A system and method uses a digital phone order management (DPOM) system to manage the ordering and provisioning of digital telephone services in a cable system. A centralized datastore of customer, order, telephone number inventory and provisioning information is accessible to access devices used by a customer service representative (CSR) of a cable operator, a voice provisioning specialist (VPS) of a local exchange carrier (CLEC), and a cable operator installation technician to schedule and provision based on permissions granted by an administrator. The sharing of information allows a CSR to manage orders for digital telephone services and to coordinate installation and provisioning so as to reduce the time to complete an order and use installation resources efficiently.

摘要： The present invention provides a method and system for providing relevance-enhanced image reduction in computer systems. Using such a method and system, information including images can be displayed in a display area that is smaller than the display area for which the information was designed while accurately conveying the overall content of the information. A computer system in which the present invention operates includes a computer connected to a display device and a secondary storage device. A reducer is stored in the secondary storage device for execution by the computer. Additionally, data regarding an image to be displayed on the display device is stored in the secondary storage device. In operation, the computer receives data regarding an image to be displayed from the secondary storage device. The reducer reduces the image by first cropping the image and then scaling the image. Lastly, the computer displays the reduced image on the display device. In order to reduce the image, the reducer initially determines a total reduction factor by which the image is to be reduced. The reducer then determines a center of relevance of the image. Next, the reducer determines a cropping reduction factor by which the image is to be cropped and crops the image around the center of relevance by the cropping reduction factor. Lastly, the reducer determines a scaling reduction factor by which the cropped image is to be scaled and scales the cropped image by the scaling reduction factor.

A diode region on the second face is configured to emit light in the predetermined wavelength range, into the substrate upon application of voltage across the diode region. A mounting support on the diode region, opposite the substrate is configured to support the diode region, such that the light that is emitted from the diode region into the substrate, is emitted from the first face upon application of voltage across the diode region. A reflector is provided between the mounting support and the diode region, that is configured to reflect light that is emitted from the diode region back into the diode region, through the substrate that is transparent to optical radiation in the predetermined wavelength range and from the plurality of pedestals, upon application of voltage across the diode region. A layer of Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) is provided between the reflector and the diode region.

The first fuel is flowed to the burner section via a branch supply line in which first and second electromechanical two position, two-way, two position valves are installed in series in opposite normal flow orientations to thereby prevent backflow of the second fuel into the source of the first fuel.
