    摘要: A system and method of angularly stable fixation of an implant on a bone includes the steps of making at least one hole in the bone by means of a bone drill. An implant is placed on the bone in a desired position and joining the implant with the bone, such that the implant is prevented from rotation about its attachment point. A system is provided for use in the above described method. The system comprises a bone drill, an implant and a sonotrode for angularly stable fixation of the implant on the bone. The system can further comprise a joining element to join the implant with the bone.

The device includes a tissue protection sleeve, which has at one end a laterally projecting grip or handle. A trocar is provided, which trocar can be introduced into the tissue protection sleeve from the handle end and whose other end is closed. The trocar is rotatable in the tissue protection sleeve and has a central bore hole and a plurality of eccentric axially parallel bore holes, through which a guide wire can be passed. A second handle is provided which extends approximately in the same direction of the first handle and whose one end engages the end of the trocar situated the outside of the tissue protection sleeve, so that the normally freely rotatable trocar is fixed in the direction of rotation relative to the tissue protection sleeve, when both handles are manually clamped against each other.

    摘要: A bone nail, particularly a proximal femoral nail, has a nail shank having at least one cross-bore near one end and an axial bore having a threaded portion. A screw, for example, a femoral neck screw is provided having a threaded portion and a smooth shank portion between the threaded portion and a screw head, which can be introduced into the cross-bore. An interlocking pin or screw is placed in the axial bore. The locking pin has a male threaded portion interacting with the female threaded portion of the bore. The locking pin or screw has an end portion which engages the smooth shank of the screw to locate it axially and wherein at least the end portion of the locking pin is made of an elastically and/or plastically deformable material.

    摘要: A targeting system has a targeting device for a locking nail which is proximally provided with cross-bores the axes of which are disposed in an offset relationship from each other by predetermined distances and/or by predetermined angles. The apparatus has a target arm having at least one target bore and a holding device mounted on the target arm to engage the distal end of the nail. The holding device has a reception bore in which a retaining or locating bar is guided. The locating bar extends in parallel with the target arm and generally perpendicular to the cross-bore. The locating bar has fasteners to fix it to the nail. The retaining bar has several recesses in the area of the reception bore. The reception bore has associated therewith a radially movable locking element or detent element which can be moved into engagement with one of the recesses by use of a handle to locate the axial and rotational positions of the retaining bar in the reception bore. The arrangement of the recesses is such that the target bore of the arm is aligned with a cross-bore of the nail when the locking element engages a recess. The handle has a cam device which signals whether the locking element is in engagement with a recess or is not in engagement therewith.
