摘要: Intramedullary nails, systems, and methods. The intramedullary nail may include a generally elongate body extending from a first, distal end to a second, proximal end. The distal end may include one or more openings configured to receive one or more bone anchors that extend transversely through the distal end intramedullary nail, and thereby configured to secure the distal end of the nail. The proximal end may also include one or more openings configured to receive one or more bone anchors that extend transversely through the proximal end of the intramedullary nail, and thereby configured to secure the proximal end of the nail. In some embodiments, the proximal end may further include a cross-locking feature, which includes a second bone anchor that interlocks with a first bone anchor, for example, for enhanced bone purchase and bony fixation.

摘要: A system is provided for preparing prosthetic hip implantation. The system includes a first broach, a second broach, and a trial neck having a body portion and a neck portion. A proximal end of the first broach comprises a first base having a first maximum area. The body portion can be releasably coupled to the proximal end of the first broach so as to define a first offset between a medial end of the neck portion and a longitudinal axis of the first broach, or releasably coupled to the proximal end of the second broach so as to define a second offset between the medial end of the neck portion and a longitudinal axis of the second broach. The first offset is smaller than the second offset.

摘要: An intertrochanteric fracture fixation device. The device comprises an anterior an anterior right lateral quadrangular shaft, a posterior quadrangular shaft, an anterior left medial hemi quadrangular shaft, a plurality of screws and a plurality of rods. The vertical arm of anterior right lateral quadrangular shaft enters into the vertical arm of the posterior quadrangular shaft and the horizontal arm of the anterior left quadrangular shaft is inserted into the horizontal arm of the posterior quadrangular shaft. A plurality of spikes is present on both the combined parts of the device. The distance between each spike is 20 mm. The three shafts i.e. anterior right lateral quadrangular shaft, a posterior quadrangular shaft and an anterior left medial hemi quadrangular shaft are combined and fixed to the proximal part of the fractured site. Again the three shafts are combined and fixed to the distal part of the fractured site of the bone.

摘要: An arthrodesis anchor as a monolithic piece has prongs supporting barbs extending radially therefrom. A neck between the ends may be angled to accommodate final alignment of resected surfaces of joints to be bonded. The neck may receive a tool for buttressing a first inserted end against further penetration into a joint while the second inserted end is inserted into the other adjacent joint. The proximal and intermediate phalangeal joints may be trimmed and pilot drilled, and may be broached with or without a K-wire guide. A first end may be inserted by a tool, typically into the proximal joint, but the order may be reversed. The second end may then be inserted into a pilot in the base of the intermediate joint.

摘要: The instrumentation makes it possible to implant in a long bone, such as the humerus, the femur or the tibia, an implant, such as an osteosynthesis nail or a prosthetic rod, defining a longitudinal axis and including, in alignment along the longitudinal axis, two opposite terminal parts and a running part that separates the two terminal parts from one another. The instrumentation comprises a targeting ancillary tool that is adapted to target one and/or the other of the terminal parts of the implant, if applicable percutaneously, along at least one targeting axis that is transverse, or even perpendicular, to the longitudinal axis. The targeting ancillary tool is designed to be fastened laterally to the running part of the implant so as to position the targeting ancillary tool and the implant relative to one another in a predetermined configuration.
