Abstract: Various embodiments herein disclose a method camping a User Equipment (UE) on a cell, the method comprising: creating a combined Most Recently Used (MRU) list by merging a list 4G MRU frequencies with a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) having a 5GC and a list of 5G MRU frequencies, determining whether one of a 4G cell with 5G core (5GC) and a 5G cell is available for camping by performing a MRU scan on the combined MRU list; performing one of: camping on one of the 4G cell with 5G core and the 5G cell in response to determining that one of the 5G cell and the 4G cell with 5G core is available and performing a 4G MRU frequency scan on a list of 4G without 5GC MRU frequencies in response to determining that one of the 4G cell with 5G core and the 5G cell is not available.

The UE determines presence of an information element (IE) in the message. The UE determines an interface protocol supported by each of the one or more RAN nodes based on a value indicated in the IE. The UE establishes communication with a first RAN node of the one or more RAN nodes based on a priority associated with the interface protocol of the first RAN node.

Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method for mitigating a temperature of an electronic device. The method includes determining, by the electronic device, the temperature of the electronic device, while a plurality of applications are executed on the electronic device, wherein each of the applications from the plurality of applications is associated with a first RAT. Further, the method includes detecting, by the electronic device, that the temperature of the electronic device meets thermal mitigation criteria. Further, the method includes mitigating, by the electronic device, the temperature of the electronic device by switching the application from the plurality of applications from the first RAT to a second RAT in response to detecting that the temperature of the electronic device meets the thermal mitigation criteria.

Abstract: A method for a data session switching by a User Equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes monitoring network broadcasted parameters of a second Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) of the UE while performing a Fifth Generation Cellular Network (5G) data session over a first SIM of the UE, where the first SIM is configured for a Default Data Service (DDS), detecting that a trigger criterion is met for the 5G data session switching to the second SIM based on the network broadcasted parameters, and in response to the trigger criterion being met, configuring the second SIM for the DDS for continuing the 5G data session over the second SIM.

Abstract: A method for connecting user equipment (UE) to data network name (DNN) in public network integrated non-public network (NPN) is provided. The method includes identifying prioritized DNN and corresponding network slice, from list of prioritized DNNs and network slices, when UE (moves from first location to second location, where session management (SM) retry timer is enabled, disabling SM retry timer based on identification, evaluating user route selection policy (URSP) rule for connecting UE to prioritized DNN and corresponding network slice. Further, the disclosure relates to method receiving rejection cause when UE sends request to connect to higher priority DNN and via corresponding network slice, where SM retry timer is enabled, detecting inactivity of packet transmission for pre-determined time period, and evaluating URSP rule, where UE is connected to higher priority DNN, and corresponding network slice.

Abstract: Methods and systems for SIM management on a DSDA/DSDS device. Methods and systems for Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) management on a User Equipment (UE) are provided. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and device for optimizing multiple radio frequency (RF) module operation of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless network. The method comprises: activating a first RF module from a plurality of RF modules available at the UE for communication with a serving beam in a serving cell while remaining RF modules are inactive, select at least one RF module from the remaining inactivate RF modules to measure at least one neighbor beam from a plurality of neighbor beams of each neighbor cell, and create a list of available neighbor beams in neighbor cells based on the measurements, determining whether a signal strength associated with the serving beam meets a signal criteria, and performing one of continuing communication with the serving beam using the first RF module in response to determining that the signal strength associated with the serving beam does not meet the signal criteria, and switching the communication from the serving beam to the at least one neighbor beam based on the measurement for continuing the communication in response to determining that the signal strength associated with the serving beam meets the signal criteria.
