Abstract:
An image sensor includes a pixel array including at least one active pixel and at least one line-optical black (L-OB) pixel arranged in a matrix including first to nth rows and first to mth columns, the pixel array configured to output a pixel signal and a dark-level offset signal in units of columns during a read-out operation in one of the first to nth rows; a row driver configured to output a selection control signal to the first to nth rows; and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) block configured to digitize the pixel signal and the dark-level offset signal. In the pixel array, a dark-level offset signal is simultaneously output from an L-OB pixel in another row during the read-out operation in one of the first to nth rows. Here, ‘n’ and ‘m’ each denote an integer that is equal to or greater than ‘2’.
Abstract:
In one example embodiment, a method of operating an image data processing circuit which controls an operation of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display includes transforming at least one first RGB value into at least one luminance value and at least one chroma value. The method further includes adjusting the at least one luminance value and the at least one chroma value based on at least one first control value. The method further includes generating at least one second RGB value based on the at least one adjusted luminance value and the at least one adjusted chroma value. The method further includes outputting the second RGB values to the OLED display.
Abstract:
A system on chip (SoC) and a method of operating the same are provided. The SoC includes a central processing unit (CPU) controlling a memory operation and a display operation on a current frame of an image based on generation of the image and an interrupt signal; an image generator requesting data of the current frame from a memory according to control of the CPU; a UD unit determining whether the current frame is updated, detecting whether an update region is a partial frame based on virtual addresses included in a request of the image generator, and outputting the interrupt signal corresponding to the update region to the CPU; a memory controller storing the update region in the memory according to the control of the CPU; and a display controller accessing the memory and outputting the update region to a display device according to the control of the CPU.
Abstract:
A multimedia system includes a main special function register (SFR) configured to store SFR information; a plurality of processing modules each configured to process frames of data, based on the SFR information; and a system control logic configured to control operations of the main SFR and the plurality of processing modules. The plurality of processing modules may process data of different frames at the same time period.
Abstract:
A multiplication method and a modular multiplier are provided. The multiplication method includes transforming a redundant-form multiplier by adding a recoding constant to the multiplier, performing recoding by using the transformed multiplier, and performing partial multiplication between the multiplier and a multiplicand using result values of the recoding.
