An energy harvesting apparatus includes a housing that includes an internal portion filled with dielectric liquid in a vacuum state, first and second electrode portions that are disposed to face each other in the housing and configured to be polarized with different polarities, a first layer that forms a path along the internal portion of the housing to allow the dielectric liquid and bubbles generated from the dielectric liquid to flow through the path, and a second layer configured to insulate the first and second electrode portions from the housing. The bubbles are generated from the dielectric liquid when thermal energy is applied to the housing. The first and second electrode portions may change a dielectric constant of the dielectric liquid when the bubbles move between the first and second electrode portions to generate current.

A terminal apparatus includes a battery configured to supply operation power for the terminal apparatus and be rechargeable, a regulator configured to regulate and output the operation power supplied from the battery to have a predetermined level, a connector configured to include a plurality of terminal pins and receive charging power for the battery from an external charging source through the plurality of terminal pins, and a connector cap configured to couple with the connector and have a pattern for electrically connecting a first pin and a second pin among the plurality of terminal pins while coupling with the connector to prevent electric current of the battery from being consumed. A product including the terminal apparatus is released in a state that the cap for electric connection between the terminal pins is coupled to the connector, preventing a standby electric current of the battery from being consumed during distribution.

A display apparatus, an electronic device, an interactive system, and controlling methods thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes: a storage unit which stores peripheral device control information in which a remote control signal for controlling a peripheral device of the display apparatus matches with a control signal corresponding to a user voice; a voice collector which the user voice; a communicator which transmits the collected user voice to the display apparatus and receives the control signal corresponding to the user voice from the display apparatus; an infrared ray (IR) transmitter which transmits the remote control signal for controlling the peripheral device; and a controller which, if the control signal is received from the display apparatus, controls the IR transmitter to transmit a remote control signal corresponding to the received control signal among remote control signals stored in the storage unit, to the peripheral device.

Disclosed are a display apparatus and a method of setting up a channel of the same. The method includes receiving a channel retrieval request on a setting screen displayed on the display apparatus, retrieving a determined frequency band corresponding to the received channel retrieval request, and selecting one of a terrestrial broadcasting mode and a cable broadcasting mode in response to a retrieval result. Thus, automatically retrieving a frequency band corresponding to one connected broadcasting mode of a terrestrial broadcasting mode and a cable broadcasting mode is possible.

An image processing apparatus and control method are provided. The image processing apparatus includes: a communication interface which is configured to communicably connect to a server; a voice input interface which is configured to receive a speech of a user and generate a voice signal corresponding the speech; a storage which is configured to store at least one user account of the image processing apparatus and signal characteristic information of a voice signal that is designated corresponding to the user account; and a controller which is configured to, in response to an occurrence of a log-in event with respect to the user account, determine a signal characteristic of the voice signal corresponding the speech received by the voice input interface, select and automatically log in to a user account corresponding to the determined signal characteristic from among the at least one user account stored in the storage, and control the communication interface to connect to the server with the selected user account.

A method for controlling an external input and a broadcast receiving apparatus are provided. The method includes: setting a call word of an external input apparatus connected through an external input terminal; associating the call word with the external input terminal and storing the call word and the external input terminal in association with each other; in response to a voice of a user being input, recognizing the voice to determine whether the voice includes the call word; and in response to determining the voice includes the call word, enabling the external input terminal corresponding to the call word to communicate with the external input apparatus using the external input terminal corresponding to the call word.

A terminal apparatus is provided. The terminal apparatus includes a voice collecting unit which collects a user's voice, a communicating unit which transmits the collected user's voice to an external server and which receives response information in response to the user's voice, a voice converting unit which converts the response information into voice signals, a voice outputting unit which outputs the converted voice signals, and a controller which analyzes at least one of a frequency and a tone of the collected user's voice, and controls so that the response information is converted to have the voice signals having the voice features corresponding to the analyzed result.
