摘要: Room temperature-vulcanizing silane-containing resin compositions are described, containing: (A) 100 parts by mass of a silane-modified polybutadiene compound represented by formula (1) (B) 0.5 to 20 parts by mass of a hydrolyzable organosilane compound having in each molecule an average of at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrolyzable groups, and/or the partial hydrolysis condensate of this hydrolyzable organosilane compound; and (C) 0.1 to 10 parts by mass of a curing catalyst. This room temperature-vulcanizing silane-containing resin composition is suitable for application as a coating agent composition and in particular as, e.g., a coating agent for electrical and electronic components and substrates therefor, and a sealant for liquid crystal display elements. The room temperature-vulcanizing silane-containing resin composition provides a gas permeation-resistant coating film (cured material) and is useful as a coating agent that exhibits a corrosion-inhibiting capability versus corrosive gases.

摘要: The present invention pertains to a room-temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition containing (A) an organopolysiloxane having the hydrolyzable silyl-group-containing monovalent organic group represented by formula (1) (R1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-10 alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted C6-10 aryl group, R2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-10 alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted C6-10 aryl group, and R3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-20 alkyl group or a hydrogen atom; M is an integer from 1 to 3, and n is an integer of 2 or more; and the broken line represents atomic bonding), (B) a hydrolyzable organosilane compound and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof, (C) a curing catalyst, and (F) a bleed oil. According to this configuration, an organotin-compound-free and MEKO-free product is achieved, exceptional fast-curing properties are achieved, and a cured coating film has exceptional rubber strength and exceptional antifouling performance over a long period of time.

摘要: Through the present invention, by undergoing a step in which a straight-chain diorganopolysiloxane having silanol groups at both terminal ends of the molecular chain thereof, a hydrolyzable silane and/or a partial hydrolysis condensate thereof having a hydrolyzable group capable of detaching a lactic acid ester, and an amino-group-containing hydrolyzable organosilane and/or a partial hydrolysis condensate thereof are pre-mixed/reacted in advance and silanol groups at both terminal ends of the molecular chain of a main agent (base polymer) are blocked by specific hydrolyzable silyl groups, it is possible to manufacture a lactic-acid-ester-type room-temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition excellent in all characteristics including curability, adhesive properties, workability, and the like that were not attainable by the conventional lactic-acid-ester-type room-temperature curable (RTV) silicone rubber composition.

摘要: Provided is a room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition for preventing aquatic organisms from adhering to and growing on an underwater structure. The composition comprises: (A) an organopolysiloxane represented by the following general formula (1) wherein R1 represents either a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group that may have a substituent group, and n represents an integer of not smaller than 1; (B) a hydrolyzable organosilicon compound and/or a partial hydrolysis condensate thereof, represented by the following general formula (2) wherein R1 represents either a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group that may have a substituent group, R2 represents either an alkyl group that may have a substituent group or a cycloalkyl group, and a represents an integer of 1 to 3; (C) a curing catalyst; and (G) a bleed oil.

摘要: Provided is an alkoxysilyl-vinylene group-containing silicon compound represented by the following general formula (1): wherein each of R1 and R2 independently represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; R represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having an organic functional group(s) and 1 to 30 carbon atoms; and n represents an integer of 1 to 3. The alkoxy groups in the novel organic silicon compound of the invention have a dramatically improved hydrolyzability. Further, a high adhesion or adhesiveness; and a fast adhesiveness can be exhibited by adding the novel organic silicon compound to a room temperature curable organopolysiloxane.
