    摘要: The present invention provides crystals of L-ornithine and a process for producing the crystals of L-ornithine including the steps of (i) exposing L-ornithine or a salt thereof, a composition comprising L-ornithine or a salt thereof, or a solution containing L-ornithine, a salt thereof, or the composition to a cation exchange resin to adsorb L-ornithine onto the cation exchange resin; (ii) eluting L-ornithine from the cation exchange resin on which L-ornithine is adsorbed with an aqueous alkaline solution, and removing an alkaline component from the resulting eluate to prepare an aqueous L-ornithine solution; and (iii) mixing the aqueous L-ornithine solution with a hydrophilic organic solvent, and crystallizing L-ornithine from the resulting mixed solution.

    摘要: In the method for separating and purifying histidine from a culture containing the amino acid, the culture containing histidine and microbial cells is charged onto the top of a column filled with a carrier particle whose particle size is 420 μm or more and which has an ability to adsorb histidine and then an eluent is passed through the column whereby accomplishing the separation and purification of histidine, and preferably in the step mentioned above, a strong acid cation exchange resin is employed as a carrier particle whereby accomplishing the separation and purification of histidine.

    摘要: In accordance with the present invention, a process for producing a ubiquinone-10-containing solution is provided, which comprises the following steps: [1] adding a methanol solution to a culture obtained by culturing a microorganism having an ability to produce ubiquinone-10 in a medium, a processed product of the culture, or a partially purified product of ubiquinone-10, to a final concentration of 50 to 100 v/v % and then retaining the resulting mixture at a temperature of 0° C. or above to 30° C. or below; [2] separating and recovering an insoluble matter from the solution obtained at the step [1]; [3] adding a methanol solution of a concentration of 85 to 100 v/v % to the insoluble matter obtained in the step [2] and retaining the resulting mixture at a temperature of more than 30° C. and 80° C. or below; and [4] removing an insoluble matter from the solution obtained in the step [3].
