    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel; a sensor unit on the display panel; a touch driver including a signal processor configured to output a final touch point coordinate using a touch sensing signal received from the sensor unit; and an application processor configured to provide filter size information to the touch driver, wherein the signal processor includes a jitter remover configured to receive a current touch point coordinate from a coordinate calculator and to output the final touch point coordinate from which a jitter component is removed by filtering with a jitter filter, and wherein the jitter remover includes a filter size determiner configured to vary a range of the jitter filter in response to the filter size information.

    Abstract: A driving method of a display device includes: generating output image data by the signal controller by either reducing vertical resolution of input image data of one frame by 1/k (k is a natural number) or receiving input image data with its vertical resolution reduced by 1/k and processing the input image data to generate output image data; generating a data voltage based on the output image data by the data driver to apply the data voltage to the data line; and applying gate-on voltage pulses to k adjacent gate lines by the gate driver corresponding to respective image data of the output image data, wherein the output image data corresponding to some pixel rows of the output image data are shifted to left or right by at least one pixel and are output to the data driver in a first frame.

    Abstract: A touch sensing unit includes a base substrate, touch sensing lines disposed on the base substrate, a first touch insulating layer disposed on the touch sensing lines, and touch electrodes disposed on the first touch insulating layer. The touch electrodes overlap the touch sensing lines in a thickness direction. Each of the touch electrodes has a mesh shape including a body and mesh holes. The bodies do not overlap the touch sensing lines in the thickness direction in a remaining area, except for partial areas.

    Abstract: A display device includes gate lines, data lines, pixels connected to the gate lines and data lines, a data driver, a gate driver, and a signal controller for controlling the data driver and gate driver. A method for driving the display device includes: compressing, by the signal controller, vertical resolution of input image data of each frame by k or receiving by the signal controller the compressed input image data; processing by the signal controller the compressed input image data to generate output image data; generating, by the data driver, data voltages based on the output image data and applying the data voltages to the data lines; and applying, by the gate driver, gate-on voltage pulses concurrently to k neighboring gate lines corresponding to the applied data voltages. Starting times of the gate-on voltage pulses of at least two of the k neighboring gate lines are different from each other.
