Abstract:
A three-way valve (1) with two flaps (5, 6) respectively positioned in two of the three paths (2, 3) of the valve and comprising means (7-12) for controlling and actuating the flaps (5, 6) to make them pivot from one to the other of two positions in which the paths (2, 3) are either open or closed. Single control means (7) are provided for both flaps (5, 6), and there are actuating means (9-12) designed to be controlled by the single control means (7) and to actuate the two flaps (5, 6) with a temporal phase shift.

Abstract:
A gas intake device for letting gases into an inlet volume of a cylinder head of a motor vehicle combustion engine includes a valve (10) for supplying the cylinder head with gas, this valve communicating with the inlet volume of the cylinder head directly and indirectly via a heat exchanger (14). The valve (10) and the heat exchanger (14) are mounted on a plate (21) intended to be mounted directly on the cylinder head. The device is compact and relatively insensitive to vibration.
Abstract:
A valve including a body delimiting an inlet duct opening into a first and second outlet duct. The body includes a first butterfly valve element and a second butterfly valve element. The first butterfly valve element is mounted on a first transmission gearwheel connected to a drive motor and is movable into two closed positions on either side of an open position of the first duct. The first transmission gearwheel is connected to a second transmission gearwheel, on which the second butterfly valve element is connected by a one-way positive drive element. When the first butterfly valve element is moved from an open position to one of the two closed positions in the first duct, the second butterfly valve element is driven from a closed position to an open position of the second duct. The valve includes a member for returning the second butterfly valve element to the closed position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an interface part (10) between a motor vehicle engine head and a heat exchanger (12), the interface part (10) comprising a first opening for the flow of a first gas. According to the invention, the first opening has a profile capable of engaging with a valve element comprising a movable portion (52) of the valve (50), with a view to at least partially sealing the first opening by means of said movable portion (52). The invention also relates to an assembly of such an interface part and a valve, and to a gas supply module for an engine comprising such an assembly. The invention is applicable, in particular, to the automotive field.

Abstract:
An EGR loop of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, comprising the engine (1), a combustion-gas exhaust manifold (2), a turbine (5) of a turbocharger (4), the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) loop (8), with a cooler (9), a compressor (6) of the turbocharger (4), in order to receive a portion of the exhaust gases and of the cool air and in which the pressure of the mixture is increased, an inlet manifold (3) of the engine (1) in order to receive the air from the compressor (6), with a particle filter (7) for cleaning the exhaust gases downstream of the turbine (5) and a low-pressure, single-flap, three-way valve (10). The valve (10) is placed upstream of the compressor (6), connected thereto via its outlet (17) in order to receive, at its two inlets (15, 16), cool air and the cleaned and cooled exhaust gases.
Abstract:
A motor vehicle internal combustion engine EGR loop, in which:with the fresh air flow rate in the air inlet path (2) of the EGR valve (1) set at a maximum, the path (3) for the EGR gases in the valve is progressively opened, andbefore the EGR gas flow rate in the valve increases any further, the fresh air inlet path (2) is progressively closed in order to continue to cause the EGR gas flow rate to increase on an increasing monotonous curve.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a gas supply module (20) for an engine, comprising a heat exchanger (22) capable of cooling gases for the intake thereof in an intake space of a cylinder head of the engine, and a gas supply valve (24) capable of directing said gases toward the intake space of said cylinder head and/or through said heat exchanger (22), said module (20) further comprising an interface element (26) closing said intake space of said cylinder head. According to the invention, said interface element (26) and said valve (24) are shaped such that said valve (24) can be attached to said cylinder head via at least a first attachment means extending through at least the interface element (26).
