    摘要: An oven control for self-cleaning ovens provides a hydraulic sensing system having a wafer-like bellows. The position of the bellows is adjusted by a face cam on a control shaft in the BAKE and BROIL modes of operation. The bellows also controls the temperature of the oven for SELF-CLEANING. However, the face cam does not determine the SELF-CLEANING temperature. A door lock operator switch is also operated by the bellows, but is connected so that the adjusted position of the bellows does not affect the door lock operating temperature. Three separate calibration adjustments are provided. The first calibrates the operating temperature in the BAKE and BROIL modes of operation. The second calibrates the SELF-CLEANING temperature, and the third calibrates the door lock operating temperature. A bimetal ambient temperature compensator is provided to compensate for variations in the ambient temperature of the control.

    摘要: A method of producing an object of fiber reinforced metal material, in which method a plurality of fibers or fiber bundles of a material of high strength are arranged at spaced positions, and a matrix material, preferably metal or metal alloy, is brought to closely surround each fiber or fiber bundle and is formed to a shape corresponding to the desired shape of the object. Earlier attempts to produce objects of fiber reinforced metal material have encountered problem regarding the arrangement of the fibers in a uniform pattern and in obtaining a predetermined volume fraction of the fibers in the completed object. According to the invention each fiber bundle is inserted in a tube, made of the matrix material and having suitable wall thickness to give the desired spacing between the fibers or fiber bundles, the tubes are placed in a casing, which is intended to give the object the desired outer configuration and preferably is made of the matrix material, and the casing with the tubes and fibers or fiber bundles arranged therein is subjected to hot isostatic pressing at high pressure and high temperature during an interval of time that is sufficient to give plastic deformation of the material to a substantially dense material.

    摘要: Current EvoPEX connector fittings offer numerous advantages over brass fitting counterparts. However, EvoPEX connector fitting's non-removable design can lead to increased labor and costs. The proposed removal tool is designed to remove push-to-connect fittings from various fluid conduits and includes an external malleable clamping flange and an internal metallic release sheet, adaptable for sealing engagement with a fluid conduit outer wall. Once the metallic release sheet circumscribes the appropriate, fluid conduit, the user pivotally slides the conduit removal tool laterally toward the EvoPEX connector fitting. Insertion of the metallic release sheet between the fluid conduit and the EvoPEX connector fitting depresses the internal locking collar. This depression mechanism prevents structural damage to PEX fluid conduit, thereby permitting reuse of the associated fluid conduit as not previously possible. Once inserted, the user may mechanically decouple the EvoPEX connector fitting from the fluid conduit through manual separation.
