摘要: A battery (100) includes an electrode body (80) having a positive electrode and a negative electrode and also includes an exterior case (50) formed in a box-like shape having an inner space corresponding to the electrode body (80). An insulation film (10) is provided between the electrode body (80) and the exterior case (50) to isolate them from each other. The insulation film (10) has a bag-like shape surrounding the electrode body (80) and is placed so as not to come into contact with corners (58) of the inner space.

摘要: A cell assembly (20) is formed by arranging an electrode body and electrolyte in an external case (12) having a through hole (41). A laser is applied to an annular portion (formed by Al or Al-based alloy) surrounding an opening end (41A) of the through hole (41) toward outside the case so as to form a welded base (45). A sealing film (54) is welded to the surface of the welded base directly or via a base film (52) welded in advance, so as to temporarily seal the through hole (41). The cell assembly (20) in the temporarily sealed state is subjected to initial charge and then a hole is opened through the film (54) so as to form a gas discharge passage for communication between inside and outside of the case (12), thereby discharging an excessive gas from the case (12) outside.

摘要: An object is to provide a battery with good durability, and a vehicle and a battery-mounting device each having such a battery mounted therein. A battery includes a positive electrode terminal member made of aluminum, a negative electrode terminal member made of copper, a positive electrode resin member made of an insulating resin, covering a part of the terminal member in tight contact therewith, and a negative resin member made of an insulating resin, covering a part of the terminal member in tight contact therewith. A positive electrode resin adhesion surface and a negative electrode resin adhesion surface each have been subjected to a surface treatment. A negative electrode sealing length of a shortest path of negative seal paths is longer than a positive electrode sealing length of a shortest path of positive electrode seal paths.
