摘要: A method for forming an overmolded container by covering a hollow inner bottle made of resin with an injection of a molten resin which forms an outer. The method comprises steps of setting the inner bottle in a mold with a space therebetween for forming the outer and circulating a pressurized gas into and out of a hollow space of the inner bottle through an upper opening thereof. The pressurized gas is supplied through a first path which opens toward an inner wall of the inner bottle and discharged out of the inner bottle through a second path. The pressurized gas supplied into and discharged out of the inner bottle is adjusted in pressure while the molten resin is being injected to the mold.

摘要: A debranching enzyme, a process for producing the enzyme, a microorganism capable of producing the enzyme, and a process for producing glucose liquids using the enzyme are disclosed. The microorganism is preferrably Bacillus FERM BP-4204, the enzyme is a debranching enzyme which acts on alpha-1,6 glucosidase bonds on produce straight chain amylose, acts on pullulan and also acts on relatively long chain saccharides, wherein said substrate specificity for activity on pullulan is set at 100, the activity of said enzyme on soluble starches relative to said activity on pullulan is from about 20 to 40, the activity of said enzyme on glycogen relative to said activity on pullulan is from about 30 to 60, and the activity of said enzyme on amylopectin relative to said activity on pullulan is from about 10 to 30, has an optimum pH from about 4.5 to 6.0, an optimum temperature from about 60.degree. C. to about 70.degree. C., a molecular weight of about 98 kD as measured by SDS-PAGE, and an isoelectric point of about 2.9. The enzyme can be also used for the production of glucose and maltose.

摘要: A novel .alpha.-1,6-glucosidase having the following properties:(1) Action: The enzyme acts on an .alpha.-1,6-glucoside bond to produce linear amylose;(2) Substrate specificity: The enzyme has the following relative activity to polysaccharides:______________________________________ Polysaccharide Relative activity (%) ______________________________________ Pullulan 100 Maize soluble amylopectin 13.5 Soluble starch 6.7 Oyster glycogen 1.7 Hare glycogen 2.6 Maize amylopectin 3.8 Potato amylopectin 4.0 ______________________________________ (3) Km value and Vmax to pullulan: the enzyme has Km value of 0.14 mg/ml and Vmax of 70.0 .mu.mol/min/mg protein;(4) Optimum pH: 5.0 to 5.5;(5) pH stability: The enzyme is stable in the pH range of 4.5 to 6.5 for 30 minutes at 40.degree. C. and in the pH range of 5.0 to 6.0 for 30 minutes at 50.degree. C.;(6) Optimum temperature: Approximately 55.degree. C.;(7) Thermal stability: Treatment at pH 4.5 for 30 minutes at different temperatures indicates that the enzyme retained 80% of the initial activity at 40.degree. C. and 10% thereof at 60.degree. C.;(8) Influence of inhibitor: The enzyme is inhibited by at least 70% by p-chloro-mercuribenzoic acid or sodium dodecylsulfate, but is not inhibited by o-phenanthroline or potassium ferricyanide;(9) Influence of metal salts: The enzyme is negligibly affected by Ni.sup.2+, Ba.sup.2+,Zn.sup.2+, Cd.sup.2+ or Mn.sup.2+ ; is inhibited by Fe.sup.3+ ; and loses activity in the presence of Hg.sup.2+ or Ag.sup.2+ ; and(10) Molecular Weight: About 95,500 (measured by SDS electrophoresis).

摘要: A process for producing a transglutaminase which comprises (1) culturing a microorganism having the identifying characteristics of a microorganism selected from the group consisting of Streptomyces sp. No. 83, deposited as FERM BP-3505, Streptomyces lavendulae No. 466, deposited as FERM BP-3506, and mutants thereof, wherein the microorganism is capable of producing a transglutaminase, wherein the transglutaminase is an enzyme which catalyzes an acyl transfer reaction of a .gamma.-carboxyamide group of a glutamine residue in a peptide or protein chain in the presence or absence of Ca.sup.++ and wherein the transglutaminase has an isoelectric point of 10 or 6.8, respectively, and is inhibited by Pb ions, and (2) recovering the transglutaminase from the culture obtained is disclosed.

摘要: An ethylene-responsive transcription co-activator (MBF) acts on ethylene-responsive transcription factors (ERFs), which positively controls the expression of ethylene-responsive plant genes. A plant is transformed by the gene of the co-activator, and a promoter that may increase or decrease responsiveness to ethylene depending on its alignment. A method for controlling the responsiveness of plants to ethylene transforms a plant comprising an ERF-dependent gene, which positively control the expression of ethylene responsive genes of plants. This transcription co-activator gene is applied to control ethylene response of plants.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to identify a transcription coactivator (transcriptional cofactor, MBF) in ethylene-responsive transcription factors (ERFs), to elucidate the mechanism of the action of MBF to ERF, which positively controls the expression of ethylene-responsive genes of plants, and furthermore, to provide a method for controlling the ethylene response of plants. An ethylene-responsive transcription coactivator (SEQ ID NO: 1 and 2) was identified. The transcription coactivator is demonstrated to be a transcription coactivator for ERF, which positively control the expression of ethylene-responsive genes of plants. This transcription coactivator gene can be applied to control ethylene response of plants.
